Famous podcaster and journalist, Arun Singh, who is known by his Instagram handle, 'The Jhumroo', got married in May during the India-Pakistan war in Punjab. He shared his honest revelation of his emotions in the midst of uncertainties and blackouts, air sirens and air bombs in Punjab, which was on the radar of Pakistan during the days of high tension.
Arun, who is a famous Instagrammer, took to his handle and shared a video from his wedding. In the clip, he was seen walking to the stage dressed as a dulha. He wore a cream-hued sherwani with a matching turban and doshala. He styled it with a green-hued layered mala. Further, in the video, he added the clips of airballs shot by Pakistan, which were clearly visible from the balcony. Atop the video, he wrote:
"I had huge fireworks at my wedding. Like pathake. #holyairball"
However, Arun didn't share any video or photo with his bride and did not even reveal her name. Along with it, he penned a quirky caption, and announced that he is married. He further added that he would have remained single if there wasn't an Indian army protecting the borders. He revealed that he got married in Punjab, and they would wake up to sirens and sleep in a blackout, which wasn't easy. He wrote:
"Life update: your boy is married! I would have been living the single life if it weren’t for the Indian Army. And dude the VEYAAH WAS IN PUNJAB… We would wake up to sirens and sleep to blackouts. Not easy. Not wishing it on anyone. But jokes like ‘tumhara wedding hashtag #MainWARiJaavan hona chahiye’ kept us going. Here’s to no fights between countries and married couples."
As soon as the video was posted, netizens flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "You were covering Operation Sindoor while getting married??!! In punjab?? Respect!! Also like how??! congratulations!" Another penned, "I seriously can’t figure out if you really got married or is this a joke??" A third user pointed on how Arun didn't show his bride's face, "Wait I’m still confused. Not accepting this news without the dulhaniyaaaaa ki shakal."
Well, it is really shocking that Arun was covering 'Operation Sindoor' in Punjab at a time when he was about to get married. Several of his fans, who love him, appreciate his dedication to his work. Many showered him with congratulations on getting married.
