Awez Darbar Reveals How His Relationship With Nagma Mirajkar Was Affected By 'BB19', 'It's Become..'

Popular choreographer and social media creator, Awez Darbar recently got evicted from the reality show, Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan. Since his exit, he has candidly spoken about his short yet impactful journey, the allegations against him inside and outside the house and a lot more. Recently, Awez Darbar opened up about his relationship with Nagma Mirajkar and shared how the show affected it. 

Awez Darbar feels her relationship has strengthened after Bigg Boss

Recently, the popular choreographer, Awez Darbar sat down for a candid interview with Zoom/Telly Talk and spoke about his Bigg Boss 19 journey and also opened up about his long-standing relationship with Nagma Mirajkar. During the interview, when he was asked about how his bond with Nagma has changed after the show, Awez revealed that the bond has strengthened. He was quoted as saying:

"100%. It's become better. After staying inside, I and Nagma understood how a person can talk and behave in such a place. Despite living there, we could be our own ourselves. We could also compare how the genuine people there can handle themselves in the most difficult situations."

In the same interview, when Awez Darbar was asked about his marriage plans with Nagma Mirajkar, the choreographer mentioned that currently, his only plans are to travel as he first needs a break from the chaotic environment of Bigg Boss 19. He also revealed that, after some rest, he will plan his future. In his words:

"We are traveling now. We're going there to think about exactly what to do next. We'll go there, rest a bit, wander around a bit, and plan our future."

Awez Darbar’s alleged relationship with Splistvilla fame, Shubhi Joshi

In September 2025, Shubhi Joshi made headlines when she indirectly accused Awez Darbar of hurting her feelings. In an interview with Filmygyan, she had claimed that someone had led her on and had two-timed with her close friend. Later, after Awez Darbar's eviction, he addressed the accusations and called them baseless. He even mentioned that Shubhi was just trying to gain attention. Soon after this, Shubhi disclosed on her Instagram handle, that he was receiving death threats, and intense harassment online because of her statements. 

Awez Darbar’s relationship with Nagma Mirajkar

Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirjkar have been assumed to be in a relationship for almost a decade. Their relationship is long rooted in friendship, which grew with time. Fans first noticed them when they started to create dance videos together. Gradually, dating rumours started to increase as Nagma became a part of Awez's family. 

However, in December 2024, Nagma clarified in a YouTube video that they were not romantically involved, stating they were just friends. Despite this, the rumours didn't stop. When they entered in Bigg Boss 19, Awez had explained that they were in a 'testing period', but within a few episodes, he had proposed to Nagma on national television.
