Aayush Sharma Recalls His First Meeting With His Wife, Arpita Khan, 'She Was Sitting On A Bench...'

Aayush is a young actor who stepped into the industry a few years ago, while Arpita is the sister of Salman Khan, which has always kept them under the spotlight. In a new interview, Aayush Sharma shared how he first met Arpita Khan and what impressed him about her the most.

Aayush Sharma had previously shared a few anecdotes about his bond with Arpita, but fans have often been curious to know more about the couple. Recently, they appeared in Farah Khan's vlog, where the duo recalled their first meeting. Amid other conversations, Farah asked Aayush how he came across Arpita. In his response, the Antim actor shared that he was introduced to Arpita by one of their common friends and that he had gradually fallen in love with her. Sharing what impressed him about Arpita in their first meeting, Aayush said:

"I had heard a lot about her. So when I saw her for the first time, she was sitting on a bench in a restaurant... I was very fascinated because her legs were not reaching the table, and she was dangling her legs, and she was sitting and ordering."

Aayush mentioned that he was impressed by Arpita's innocence and cuteness. He described that his wife might come across as tough, but she has a soft heart. The actor shared an interesting anecdote and revealed that when Arpita came to his home for the first time, she made him change his curtains. Recalling the memory, he said:

"She has a tough exterior like a coconut but a soft interior. When she came to my house for the first time, she had my curtain changed. She told me that there is something called allergy and I must learn how to clean the curtain for the first time."

Previously, Aayush Sharma recalled his first meeting with Salman Khan while appearing on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya's s podcast. He shared that Salman Khan agreed to his marriage with Arpita after witnessing his honesty, but before that, he was scared to meet Bollywood's Bhaijaan. He mentioned that after being friends with Aprita for 3-4 years, he proposed to her, and they began dating. But one night, when he came to drop her off at home, she asked him to join her for a film and have dinner. Although. Aayush was hesitant, he joined her. Suddenly, Salman Khan came home which resulted in a funny incident. Sharing what happened next, he said:

“Hum baithe the TV dekh rahe the uspe zikr hua Salman ka aur wo prakat ho gaye darwaze pe aur ghanti marne lage. Maine kaha ye kaun hai, Arpita boli ki ‘Bhai toh Karjat mein shoot kar rahe hai’. Wo ghume aise aur peeche main baitha hua tha, ab mereko toh seedhe pyaar kiya toh darna kya wali feeling aa gayi. Wo ghume aur maine seedhe uth ke bola, ‘Hi sir, I am Aayush Sharma’, wo bhi ghabra gaye aur kehte, ‘Hi, I am Salman Khan’. Aur mere muhn se nikla pata hai mereko.”
