Bobby Deol is all over the headlines at the moment since people have been going gaga over his seemingly cannibalistic appearance and performance in the upcoming film, Animal. Surely so, for such a power-packed performance, Bobby has amped his fitness game, and has effortlessly flaunted her macho avatar with a classily maintained beard. However, amidst all the love and appreciation he has been getting, Bobby, on the other hand, heaped praises on his daddy dearest, Dharmendra for his unbeatable energy at 87.
During the trailer launch event of his upcoming film, Animal, Bobby Deol sidelined all the appreciation and love coming his way, as he instead praised his father, Dharmendra for showcasing an exemplary performance even at such a senior age. Talking about his father’s last film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Bobby credited how nobody else other than Dharmendra could’ve pulled off what the latter did in the film. In his words:
“Papa ne jo kaam kiya hai Rocky rani ne voh role koi aur nahi kar sakta tha.”

In the same breath, Bobby also didn’t fall back to heap praises on his paaji, Sunny Deol, and credited the latter for creating history with his recent film, Gadar 2. For the unversed, the film had recorded some massive scores at the box-office. Bobby mentioned:
“Gadar ne toh gadar macha diya.”
During his appearance in Koffee With Karan 8, Bobby Deol opened up on some unheard facets of his life as he recalled the lowest phase of his career. Bobby mentioned how, at one particular point in time, he ended up staying home and indulged in excessive drinking. He further mentioned how his wife, Tanya used to go for work whereas he did nothing staying back. However, when one day he heard his wife, Tanya's conversation with their son, wherein the latter asked his mom why she was working while his dad sat at home. That was the moment when Bobby snapped out of his circumstances and decided to restart it all.

Some time back, Bobby Deol attended the Jagran Film Festival, wherein he opened up on several anecdotes from his personal life. Speaking on the kind of bonding he shares with his elder brother, Sunny Deol, Bobby revealed:
“Since he was 10 years older than me, he left no stone unturned to show that he was superior in every aspect. Despite his poor academic performance, he used to pester me about my studies, making me wonder why he wasn’t concentrating on his own. think his notion was that at least I excelled where he couldn’t. But I didn’t understand it back then. I kept wondering why he was telling me all this when, after all, he was just my brother, not my father. I feel very fortunate that my brother has been.”
