When it comes to a wedding soiree, the bride's to-do list never ends. And what tops the list of the brides is to find the best fit for every occasion. Well, the special days ask for special outfits, and when it turns out to be something that has been followed down by legacy it becomes extra special and extra meaningful. Time and again, we have seen brides opting for their mom's or grandmom's outfits or jewels or family heirlooms for their special day.
Nowadays, brides even re-vamp their mom or grandmom's outfits and jewels to wear them on their special days. Something similar happened as Mumbai-based bridal stylist, Rashi Kapur planned and executed her idea to deck her sister, Reha, in their mom's wedding ensemble at her pre-wedding soiree. Well, let us give you a hint beforehand, her mom was left emotional after seeing the final result.
Bridal stylist, Rashi Kapur recently took to her IG handle and shared a video showcasing her beautiful sister, Rhea's dhol night look. For the day, Rashi planned something special for her sister's dress. In the caption, she shared that it was her idea to transform her mom's 'laal shaadi ka joda' into something gorgeous for her sister, and it turned out to be pretty perfect execution with her collaboration with the brand, Ameeran by Shweta Batra and Ashish Batra. Well, the result not only left Rashi and her sister, Rhea happy, but it also left their mother in tears.
In the video, we could have a glimpse of Rashi's mom's shaadi ka joda, which was in red-hue made with intricate designs all over. The joda had zari, sequins, and stone works that complemented the red hue of the age-old bridal ensemble. Well, Rashi planned to make it a sharara set for her sister, Rhea to wear it on her dhol night. The joda was used to make the pants, and the borders of the kurta, which was in a purple hue.
Rashi shared that the booties and borders from her mom's wedding ensemble were used on Rhea's shrara set. Rhea teamed her dress with a sky-blue-toned dupatta with heavy golden work all over. And, oh boy, she looked like a dream. And why not? Mom's ensembles make her daughters look the best, and when they are used on a special occasion like a wedding, then there remains nothing that can beat its beauty.

Rhea opted for a glam touch of makeup, including defined eyebrows, nude lipstick, kohl-rimmed eyes, and an ample amount of blush along with her gorgeous sharara set made from her mom's wedding ensemble. She teamed her dress with statement earrings in a golden hue and emerald drops, and a matching huge maang teeka, a ring, and a sleek silver bangle amplified her look.
