According to US Weekly, Cardi B broke up with Stefon Diggs just days before the Super Bowl. A source told the outlet that the pair had always had ups and downs in their relationship. Additionally, it is not the first time the couple has called off their relationship. Instead, the insider clarified that Cardi B and Stefon's break-up was not sudden, hinting towards the rocky nature of their bond behind the scenes. Sharing how their split culminated, the source said:

"They are always so upset and down. This isn't the first time they have broken up. Cardi is single and putting herself out there again. She feels free." 

Furthermore, the insider reinforced the speculation that trust issues between the duo played a key role in their separation. According to the outlet's reports, the NBA star had betrayed Cardi B multiple times, and her friends had been trying to show her the reality and how she could do much better than him for a long time. Although the specific details of the alleged betrayal have not been confirmed by any public statements, rumours about Stefon's personal life have been at the forefront since the beginning.
