Dhanashree Verma is a dentist and popular choreographer. Her dance and fun personality helped her make a way into people's hearts. In her personal life, the influencer tied the knot with Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal and the couple was adored by fans. Months ago, reports about trouble in their paradise emerged, and her lawyer confirmed their separation. Amid this, fake news claimed that Dhanashree was seeking Rs. 60 crore in alimony. Recently, the choreographer who continues to work shared a new dance video but got brutally trolled by netizens.
Separation is not easy for a couple, and Dhanashree Verma is suffering a lot due to fake rumours swirling about her. The diva, who chose to focus on her work in a difficult time, took to her Instagram handle and shared a new video dancing to the popular Bollywood song, Touch Me from Dhoom 2. Sharing the video, she penned:
"Just casual Sunday mode"
In the video, Dhanashree wore a khaki-hued cropped T-shirt and black trousers. Dhanashree kept her hair open and sported minimal makeup. Although Dhanashree Verma hasn't reacted to her separation news, she was recently spotted at the airport and keeps updating her fans on her work. Meanwhile, her lawyer admitted that the couple was parting ways. In her words:
"I have no comments to make on the proceedings, the matter is currently sub judice. The media should fact-check before reporting, as a lot of misleading information is being circulated."

Despite having no concrete basis, the fake alimony news about Dhanashree went viral. Since then, she has been trolled for it. After she had shared her recent dance video, several netizens called her out on the news. One user penned, 'After 60 crore khushi toh alag hi hai'. Another netizen commented, “Mam bhul gaye paise aa gaye account mein. However, a few netizens extended their support and voiced concern over the negative comments. Someone wrote, "Kaise lagta hoga unhe comment box open karne se."

When the fake news about Dhanashree Verma made headlines, one of her family members came out to clear the air. Without revealing their identity, the person highlighted to HT City that the news has been affecting the choreographer and her family. In that person's words:
"We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered."
Yuzvendra Chahal came across Dhanashree Verma during the COVID-19 lockdown and approached her to teach him dance online. She agreed, and after two months of learning, they fell in love, got engaged in August 2020. Later ,the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in December 2020. They were among the most popular couples on social media, but in November 2024, they unfollowed each other on social media. Yuzi deleted all his pictures with Dhanashree, which gave rise to their separation rumours. After living apart for nearly 18 months, their lawyer confirmed their divorce. However, none of them has publicly made any statement on the ongoing buzz.
