On the personal front, she married her fellow actor, Kapil Arya, in 2021 and is now preparing to rock the mommy duties, as the couple is expecting their first child.
Gurpreet Bedi shares the behind the scene pictures from her pregnancy announcement clip
Gurpreet Bedi announced that she is expecting her first child on December 28, 2024, with a cute yet hilarious video. Now, the television actress has shared some pictures of the same with her husband on social media. She took to her Instagram handle on February 4, 2025, and shared several cutesy pictures of herself and Kapil.
In the shared pictures, Gurpreet can be seen donning a backless fitted maxi dress with a chevron pattern in white, blue, brown, purple and beige. She paired the look with blue flower earrings, a bracelet stack, a small pendant necklace and a white cap which read, 'MOM EST 2025'. On the other hand, Kapil was seen wearing a black button-up shirt and blue jeans. He also wore a black cap which read, 'DAD EST 2025'. In the first picture, Gurpreet smiles as Kapil holds her by the waist and tilts his cap. In the third picture, the mom and dad duo show off their caps, while in the fourth photo, Kapil can be seen sporting a fake bump while Gurpreet blows a kiss at the camera.
The fifth picture shows Kapil adjusting Gurpreet's cap as she makes a surprised face while holding her baby bump. The next picture showed the duo pointing at Gurpreet's pregnant belly. The actress radiated with the pregnancy glow, and the couple looked ecstatic about soon welcoming their bundle of joy.

In a time when the world is after aesthetics and perfect shots, Gurpreet and Kapil gave their pregnancy announcement an old-school twist. The actress shared the announcement video on January 28, 2025. The reel showed a rendition of the early 90s romantic movies, following the script of how a woman meets a man and they fall in love. The reel also featured the iconic 'two flowers' touching together scene, revealing a pregnant Gurpreet. The couple then put the cap on each other's heads and tilt it forward to show the 'MOM EST 2025' and 'DAD EST 2025'. The reel ends with a template of a baby with the caption, 'Coming 2025'.

On the professional front, Gurpreet Bedi was last seen essaying the role of 'Mandodari' in the television series, Shrimad Ramayan in 2024.
