According to a report by Times Entertainment, Diljit Dosanjh will not just be walking down the red carpet. The actor-singer will be the first Indian and the only male star to be seated at the elite dinner. For the unversed, every year, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, throws an exclusive soiree, which includes a few elite invitees. Diljit has been invited to be a part of this elite dinner table by the gorgeous organiser and editor-in-chief of Vogue herself.

Diljit Dosanjh to wear a regal piece by Prabal Gurung

MET Gala is the platform where some of the most iconic couture pieces come to life. This red carpet has made some designers the global name, and among them is the ace designer, Prabal Gurung, who will be putting together the look for Diljit Dosanjh's big MET debut. Known for his thoughtful blend of tradition and modernity, Prabal is reportedly crafting a regal, traditional ensemble for Diljit, which will be a tribute to his proud Punjabi heritage. For the unversed, Prabal has previously designed outfits for Madeline Garner, Demi Lovato, Isha Ambani, Alia Bhatt and Laufey, among others. This year's MET won't just be about the representation given to people of colour but also a celebration of South Asian identity on fashion’s most prestigious platform.
