Divya Khossla Kumar is one of the most well-known names in the Indian entertainment industry. She is an actress, director, and producer who has worked in the entertainment field for years. For the unversed, Divya is married to T-series' MD, Bhushan Kumar. Recently, Divya took a brutal dig at Alia Bhatt and called her out for fooling the audience and faking her film, Jigra's box office collection.
Alia Bhatt's movie, Jigra, was released in theatres on October 11, 2024, it stars Vedang Raina and her in pivotal roles. The movie got excellent reviews from critics and according to certain media reports, it is doing well at the box office as well. However, certain reposts also claim that the movie had a modest opening, and now Divya has exposed the same.

No matter how great a movie is, its success is always determined by its box office numbers. Alia Bhatt's movie, Jigra, received much acclamation from ace film critics, but it seems like the movie failed to impress the audience and has taken the help of fake PR and propaganda to promote it. This is not what we are saying but what Divya Khossla Kumar alleged.
Taking to her Instagram store a few hours back, Divya Khossla slammed Alia Bhatt for faking the box office collection of Jigra. Divya dropped a picture of an empty movie theatre and shared that she went to watch the film in Citi Mall PVR, but the entire hall was empty. She added that all theatres across India are going empty for Jigra, but Alia Bhatt and her team continue to lie about the film's box office collection. Divya further added:
“Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra."
Kangana Ranaut has always been known to speak her mind who never holds back from sharing her unfiltered opinions. Her recent Instagram story about “woman-centric films” is a testament to her courage in speaking out in the film industry. Netizens believed it could be a subtle dig at Alia. Kangana wrote on her story:
