Eric Stonestreet Of 'Modern Family' Gets Married To Fiancee, Lindsay Schweitzer At Age Of 54

Noted American actor, Eric Stonestreet, started a new journey in his life with his longtime fiancee, Lindsay Schweitzer. The couple got married in a secret wedding at their dream home in Kansas City, Mo. For the unversed, Eric is known for his role as 'Cameron Tucker' in the ABC sitcom, Modern Family. He also bagged two Emmy Awards for his comedy series. 

Eric Stonestreet gets married to Lindsay Schweitzer

At the age of 54, Eric Stonestreet got married to Lindsay Schweitzer in a private ceremony. Sharing the photos, he asked his fans to guess what he got for his birthday on September 9, 2025. Followed by a couple of pictures from his wedding. In the photos, the actor was dressed in a fitted navy-hued blazer with a blue tie and a crisp white shirt underneath. On the other hand, his bride, Lindsay, looked pretty in a satin gown. It featured dropped neck, strappy sleeves and a crystal belt at the waist. 

The bride styled her hair in soft beach waves, with subtle makeup, which made her look on point. She accessorised her look with a pendant. In one of the photos, Eric and Lindsay were seen sharing a kiss after exchanging their wedding vows.

Fans showered the Stonestreet couple with loads and loads of love. Eric's Modern Family co-star, Jesse Tyler Ferguson wrote, "Of all second marriages, this one is my favorite! I love you both! I'm so happy for you!" Another one penned, "Absolutely sensational! Congrats my man, lots of love to you and Lindsay and the boys!!" A third user commented, "Best news to wake up to! So happy for the two of you! All the Happiest!"

When Eric Stonestreet opened up about his wedding at his dream home

Earlier, in an interview with People, Eric discussed his plans for his wedding. He stated that he and his fiancee, Lindsay are building a house to host the wedding, and they are almost done with their dream. He said:

"Well, I've said we're building a house to host a wedding, and we're still on track to do that. We're almost done with the house, and that's been our plan all along."

Eric also mentioned that he got engaged to Lindsay in 2017 and suddenly he got the opportunity to build the house with her. He thought it to be a great way to start the relationship while building a core and strong foundation. So, that's how they planned their wedding with the construction of his dream home. He said:

"We got engaged and then all of a sudden got an opportunity to build a house, and I thought, no better way to start a relationship than literally building a foundation. So that's our plan and we're still on track for that."

Who is Lindsay Schweitzer?

Lindsay Schweitzer is a pediatric nurse. The two met each other in 2016 at the Big Slick charity weekend in Kansas City. The event was hosted by Eric alongside his friends Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis. Lindsay was taking care of a patient, and she was highly impressed with Eric's gesture. A source close to the couple revealed that they were happy with each other and have been spending time together since then. 

By 2017, Eric Stonewear was expressing his love everywhere he went. At Ellen DeGeneres' television show, he went on to reveal how Lindsay calms him and his nerves. It is worth mentioning that Eric and Lindsay dated each other for five years before he proposed, and they got engaged in 2021.
