Shalini recently sat for an interview, wherein she talked about being insecure about her looks and how she eventually learned to own what she has.

Shalini Passi recalls being insecure about her nose being a bit bigger and stopping to smile for the same

Shalini Passi recently sat for an interview with Brut, wherein she was asked about her insecurities. The gorgeousness revealed that earlier, she was extremely insecure about her nose, and thought it to be a bit bigger and felt that it should have a bit more gap from her upper lip. Shalini added that she is an artist, and thus, she knows about these proportions. Well, the philanthropist further added that she was so insecure about her nose that she didn't even smile much, thinking her nose would look even bigger.

Shalini Passi reveals how she overcame her insecurities about her 'big nose'

Going further in the interview, Shalini Passi mentioned that later in the years, she read somewhere that those who possess bigger noses actually define strong characters, and thus, she eventually made her peace with it and also learned to own what she has. Shalini remarked that she has very curly hair, and she straightens the same for shoots, but it doesn't mean that she doesn't love her curly hair. Well, Shalini is truly an inspiration, and there are no second thoughts as to why people love her so much.

Shalini Passi talks about the challenges for women

In the same interview, Shalini Passi talked about the challenges that a woman in a society has to face. She mentioned that for a long time in her life, she had to work to be taken seriously. Shalini added that it's not that she always wants to be taken seriously, as she loves to be known as a fun person, but at times, it's needed. She gave an example of the same. 

Shalini added that when she was building her house, the construction team and juniors wouldn't take her seriously and wanted to follow only Mr Passi (Sanjay), but later, the industrialist told them that his wife's vision was to build this house, so she should be the one, to whom others should listen to. Shalini said that over the years, women also learned to embrace individuality and she loves how everybody is exploring nowadays, while earlier, there had been a barrier to women to even wear dresses in a certain way.

Shalini Passi recalls putting on 30 kilos weight after giving birth to her son, and being judged by others

The entire cast of the Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives sat for an interview on Huterrfly's The Male Feminist. While being there, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni added how she was bodyshamed, and stated that it always happens that people either talk about a girl putting on weight or losing weight. Meanwhile, Shalini revealed that she had gained 30 kgs after giving birth to her son, Robin, and people questioned her for the same. She remarked that even after she shed weight in just a few months, she was still being asked why she had become so skinny.
