Govinda's Wife, Sunita Reveals Her Son, Yasdhvardhan Raises Her BP As He Leaves The Kitchen Dirty

Sunita Ahuja has been married to Govinda for about 37 years. The couple is blessed with a daughter, Tina Ahuja and a son, Yashvardhan. On March 11, 1987, Sunita and Govinda got married, and she revealed in many interviews that Yashvardhan was way more pampered than Tina. However, his peculiar habit causes Sunita to raise her blood pressure, as she reveals that Yashvardhan knows to keep the kitchen unclean.

Sunita Ahuja opens up on Yashvardhan's dirty habit of leaving the kitchen dirty

Sunita and Tina recently appeared in an interview with the Curly Tales. Host Kamiya played a segment with the duo titled, 'Whose most likely to' and asked the duo who was most likely to get caught sneaking a snack late at night. Tina said it was Yash, as she and her mother preferred a neat and clean kitchen. However, when Yashvardhan enters the kitchen, it would be spread with chips, nuggets, and chocolates, and they did not like it. Tina also revealed how there are scattered bottles in the hall when Yash's friends come. She and Sunita accepted it as a phase. However, Sunita expressed how her BP rises when she sees all this. In her words:

"Everyday nai khata nugget. Kabhi kabar. Usko diet manata hai, pata nai kya. Mei bolti hu Yash tu khata bhi hai na toh dustbin bagal room mei hai. Hamare mei bolte hai kitchen ko saaf rakho. Mahalaxmi aati hai. Uthke woh sab gandagi dikhta hai mera BP high hota hai aur phir mei lamba saas leti hu. Shaant."

When Sunita Ahuja revealed that Yashvardhan was always pampered

Earlier in an interview on Time Out in Ankit's podcast, Sunita shared that Yash was always a little pampered because he is eight years younger than Tina. The reason behind pampering Yashvardhan was that Sunita expressed she had another daughter too, but she was premature and didn’t survive. She was three months old when she passed away. In her words:

"That is why I brought up Yash in a cocoon because I was scared. Now I have to fulfill all his wishes, but it’s fine."

When Sunita Ahuja remembered her first meeting with Govinda

In an interview with the same podcast, Sunita shared that she knew Govinda for about 40 years. She met him when he was in the final year of BCom, and the duo dated for three years before getting married. Sunita shared that she had kept her marriage secret as she did not want his fame or stardom to be affected. Sunita, however, is confident that Govinda, after his mom, loves only her. In her words:

"If there’s anyone other than his mother that he loves, it’s me. I’ve been with him since before he was a megastar. I’ve been with him through thick and thin, through good days and bad. There must be a reason we’ve stayed together for 40 years, otherwise when do you hear of relationships that last this long these days?"
