'Harry Potter' Series Makers Introduce The 'Weasley Siblings', Says, 'The Burrow Is Nearly Full...'

Harry Potter is a series of seven novels written by JK Rowling, which was later turned into a film franchise by Warner Bros. While the popularity of the film series grew among the fans, the world of wizards became an integral part of every child's growing-up years. Seeing the popularity of the films and books even after years, the makers made a decision which left the entire world stunned.

They announced the return of the popular franchise, now as a television series, which left fans excited. As the pieces of the magical world are brought together, fans are growing increasingly ecstatic to see the series. And now, it was time for the 'Weasley siblings' to be revealed, and they are everything fans could ask for.

HBO introduces the 'Weasley siblings' for the upcoming Harry Potter series

HBO is all prepared to bring back the fans' most-loved wizards to the screens. While there is no denying that the OG film series will always hold a special spot in the hearts of the fans, they are excited to see a more in-depth version of the world of magic. The makers are thoroughly enjoying breaking the internet with small drops and hits about the upcoming series, and now, they have unveiled the 'Weasley siblings'. While we know that Alastair Stout will be essaying the role of 'Ron Weasley', the makers have now announced the rest of the children.

Taking to their official Instagram account, the makers shared an adorable selfie featuring the real-life brothers, Tristan Harland and Gabriel Harland, who will portray the mischievous twins, 'Fred' and 'George'. Along with them stood the eldest 'Weasley' Ruari Spooner, who will take on the role of the stern and ambitious 'Percy'. However, it was Gracie Cochrane who won everyone's hearts as she has been cast as 'Ginny', the youngest 'Weasley'.

A first-look photo of the quartet was shared by the makers, who will appear alongside Alastair Stout, Katherine Parkinson, who will essay the role of 'Molly Weasley'. Nonetheless, the family is not yet complete as the role of family patriarch, 'Arthur Weasley', is still awaited. The post also mentioned that 'Charlie Weasley', stating that he was still in 'Romania', referencing his role as a dragon trainer in the books. In the caption, the makers wrote:

"The Burrow is nearly full. (Charlie’s in Romania at the moment but will be joining us soon enough…)."

Harry Potter cast so far

HBO has been slowly building excitement for its new Harry Potter series by showing the faces of its magical cast. Fans first got a glimpse of young newcomer, Dominic McLaughlin, who will be seen in the role of the legendary young wizard, 'Harry Potter', Arabella Stanton who will mark her debut in the world of magic as 'Hermione Granger' and Alastair Stout in the role of the ace wizard and friend, 'Ron Weasley'. They will be joined by several big names, including John Lithgow as 'Albus Dumbledore', Janet McTeer as 'Minerva McGonagall'.

Additionally, Paapa Essiedu will step into the shoes of 'Severus Snape', Nick Frost as 'Rubeus Hagrid', Luke Thallon as 'Quirinus Quirrell', Paul Whitehouse as 'Argus Filch', and Lox Pratt as 'Draco Malfoy'. The 'Malfoy family' will also feature Johnny Flynn as 'Lucius'. With a run-time of about ten years, it will be interesting to see how the show will progress and how the audience will like the reprised version of Hogwarts, the school for magic.
