Hrithik Roshan's GF, Saba Azad Shares Feeling Normal Dating Him, 'People Who Are In The Public Eye'

Hrithik Roshan is in a steady relationship with his girlfriend, Saba Azad. The actress recently spoke about the attention she received when the world learned that she was dating the 'Greek God'. Saba did share that everything was overwhelming for her, and to take advice, she had gone to her ex-partner, Imaad Shah, who was experienced in the domain. However, she did admit to seeing her relationship with Hrithik as a normal one.

For the unversed, before Saba found love in Hrithik, she was in a relationship with Imaad. He is the son of Ratna Pathak Shah and Naseeruddin Shah. Saba knew he had a good understanding of what it was like to be in the public eye. He knew she needed the help as the scrutiny was a lot. Even though Saba has evolved in her relationship with Imaad over the years and both are creative collaborators, she did agree that feeling normal when in love with Hrithik. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Saba shared:

"I have a lot of sense of normalcy around me, even within my relationship. It’s an assumption that we make that people who are in the public eye don’t lead normal lives. Everyone is just going about their life, trying to get through from one day to another. I’m surrounded by friends who couldn’t give a damn about fame."

Saba did agree that people often had a misconception about stars and the lifestyles they led. She did agree that her boyfriend, Hrithik, has been in the eyes of the public longer than she has been, and he has been more accustomed to fame than she has.

Saba and Imaad stopped dating, but she was asked if her friendship with him had changed after they had dated. Saba shared that her equation with him had not changed at all, as she had turned to him and his partner, Sana, for guidance on how to deal with her overwhelming thoughts. Saba did need someone to talk to, as she wanted perspective, and Imaad was someone who was experienced in managing that level of fame. Saba also mentioned that her ex has also been in the public eye, like her current boyfriend, Hrithik. She shared:

"Imaad has ‘dealt with that his whole life, and has been in the public eye his whole life’. “He has a perspective that I don’t… It was overwhelming, to say the least. I’m not used to those many eyes on me, and nor did I invite them. It really helps to have friends who get you."

Saba did agree that her life, despite being Hrithik's girlfriend, is very normal, but it is very easy to slip through the cracks. However, she is someone who prefers to stay out of the limelight and does not believe in chasing it. The actress is best known for her work in Rocket Boys and has recently been seen in Anurag Kashyap's Bandar. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. She has also been recognised for her work on the "Who's Your Gynac" show. The actress was trolled for her comment on being the official girlfriend of the Greek God.
