In today's time, Indian celebrities own a plethora of luxury cars. They have everything from one of the fastest to the most expensive cars out there. But there is always that particular first vehicle in everyone's life which starts it all.
Everyone, from the average person to the wealthiest person in the world, tends to recall the first car they owned. Getting your first car marks the beginning of a new phase of life. So when it comes to Indian celebrities, it is interesting to know the story behind the names that rule thousands of hearts.

The first car that Rajinikanth bought was a white Premier Padmini back in the 1980s. The vehicle is regarded as a classic and has a 1.1-litre engine. It is currently relatively uncommon in the country. Thalaiva still owns the car and considers it his most prized possession, despite owning some of the most luxurious cars in the present times.

However, King Khan still treasures the Maruti Suzuki Omni that his mother gave him as a present during his struggling days. The pricing is currently around Rs. 2.08 lakh, and the mileage ranges between 10.9 and 14.96 km per litre.
Bhaijaan of Bollywood, Salman Khan's first car was a Triumph Herald, which the late Rishi Kapoor used in the 1985 film, Zamana written by Salman's father, Salim Khan. The car was gifted to Salim Khan for his fantastic work, who then passed it on to Salman Khan. The actor once stated that although the car was in bad condition when he received it, it still holds a very special place in his heart.

For many Indians, the Maruti 800 is an unquestionable emblem that instantly brings back nostalgia. The Maruti 800 is an absolute icon for many Indians and brings back several memories. While the ace director, Imtiaz Ali, currently rides a luxurious BMW 6-Series GT, his first car was Maruti Suzuki 800.
The Big B of Bollywood is known for his impressive collection of automobiles, ranging from Bentley Continental GT to Rolls-Royce. Kangana Ranaut started working in Bollywood when she was barely 17. The Queen star, pampered herself after becoming a superstar in Bollywood at the tender age of 21, buying a BMW series 7 for herself. The vehicle cost about Rs. 1.30 crore.
Katrina Kaif began her career in 2003 and has come a long way since then. Bollywood's heart, Katrina Kaif's first automobile purchase was an Audi Q7. The price range for her Audi vehicle ranges between Rs. 59 lakhs and Rs. 85 lakhs.
Well, it clearly shows that the majority of celebrities who drive expensive automobiles today came from a modest upbringing.
