Sakharpuda is a Maharashtrian ceremony that takes place before the wedding. It is made of two words: Sakhar, which means sugar, and Puda, which means packet. Shakarpuda is like an engagement ceremony where the bride and groom come together to mark their official engagement to get married. The ceremony is also called Waangnischay, which means a verbal agreement. The auspicious ceremony marks the coming together of two families joined by the love and togetherness of the couple.
Manasi Mua married the love of her life in a traditional Hindu marriage in December 2024. Manasi wore a beautiful red and beige lehenga with intricate zari and motif design. She opted for a natural makeup look for the day, with a dewy base, kohl-rimmed eyes, and peach lips. Manasi tied her hair in a low bun and opted for a gold and emerald layered necklace with a matching nath and maang teeka.
