Did Ioan Gruffudd's Ex-Wife, Alice Evans Threaten Him To End His Career Just Like 'Amber Heard'?

Ioan Gruffudd is a famous actor known for his role as 'Reed Richards' in Fantastic Four. He was also known for his supporting role as a Fifth Officer 'Harold Lowe' in Titanic. Currently, he is in the news for his personal affair. Ioand Gruffudd made a shocking revelation that his ex-wife, Alice Evans, threatened him to destroy his career by making false and explosive accusations against him in the media and court. 

What did Ioan Gruffudd reveal about his ex-wife, Alice Evans' threat?

In the recent court session against Evans. He asked for renewal of the restraining order that he and his new wife, Bianca Wallace, had against Alice Evans. The two claimed that Alice stalks them and trash-talks about them. He further revealed that his ex-wife even threatened to destroy him and his career by Amber Heard, a term used for Amber Heard who made false accusations against Johnny Depp as she had sued him for USD 50 million. 

Ioan Gruffudd further revealed an incident in which he dropped off their kids after a scheduled visit, and Evans tried to berate him and yelled at him at the top of her lungs. She claimed that she would destroy men, and she even involved their children and told them that if their father ever gets weird with them, then let her know. He was quoted as saying:

"She said she was going to destroy me and she was going to ‘Amber Heard’ me. Then she said to the girls, ‘If daddy is ever weird or creepy with you in a physical way, please let me know.' She accused me of being a child molester, a pedophile and a drug addict. “She said I was out of my mind on s*x and drugs and millennials."

The 52-year-old revealed that he was extremely disturbed by Alice Evans' ways and how she wanted to denigrate him. She even went to the point where she told him that he would be begging for money.  He added that he is worried that she would use his public image to create a scandal bigger than someone ever witnessed. 

"You won’t be an actor, baby, you’ll just be begging for money. I was anxious that she would use my public image to create a scandal bigger than Brad and Angelina. I found that to be incredibly threatening."

Gruffudd added that Evans' event threatened his second wife, Wallace. The couple got married in 2025. Alice revealed that she would create a false crime and his would be deported. It is worth mentioning that Ioan and Alice parted ways in 2021, and their divorce was finalised in 2023. In October 2021, Alice accused Ioan of having a three-year affair with his now-wife, who was previously his friend. He denied the same in the law of the court.

In February 2022, Ioan filed a restraining order against Evans. As per the official documents sourced by Page Six, Ioan claimed that Alice threatened him during their final months together, and if he left her, she would make false public accusations about him and would sell false stories about him to the media to destroy him and his career. He added that she kept telling him to verbally multiple times that she would do what Amber Heard did to Johnny Depp. He even got a three-year restraining order against her in 2022, but he still wants to keep her away from his life. The ex's older daughter, Ella, even filed a restraining order against her father and his new wife in June 2023, but it was denied.
