Janhvi Kapoor And Khushi Kapoor Skip Step-Sister, Anshula Kapoor's Engagement With Rohan?

Arjun Kapoor's sister, Anshula Kapoor, got a dreamy proposal from her longtime beau, Rohan Thakkar, in New York in July 2025. Recently, the family hosted an engagement ceremony for the couple at Boney Kapoor's home in Mumbai. The celebration was attended by family and friends, including Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Rohit Dhawan, Rhea Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and more. But Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were missing from the celebration.

The celebration was star-studded with distant family and friends in attendance. However, Janhvi and Khushi's absence fuelled a lot of speculations. The family didn't even share pictures and videos from the celebration. For the unversed, Anshula is the daughter of Mona Shourie Kapoor and Boney Kapoor.

The veteran producer divorced his first wife and married Sridevi the same year, and they have two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi. It was after the sudden death of Sridevi in 2018 that Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor united with their half-siblings, Khushi and Janhvi, and they developed a close bond.

On July 3, 2025, Anshula took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her dreamy engagement. Her beau, Rohan Thakkar, proposed to her at a park in her favourite city, New York. Sharing her love story, Anshula revealed that they met on an app, and started talking randomly. Soon they clicked, and after three years of dating, Rohan proposed to her. She wrote:

"We met on an app. Started talking on a random Tuesday at 1.15AM. We spoke until 6am that morning. And somehow, even back then, it felt like the beginning of something that mattered. 3 years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed! At exactly 1.15 AM India time!  And somehow the world paused just long enough for the moment to feel like magic. Just the quiet kind of love that feels like home. I’ve never been the girl who believed in fairytales.. but what @rohanthakkar1511 gave me that day was better. Because it was intentional. Thoughtful. Real. Us. I said yes."

Anshula further explained that they have been together since 2022, and now, she is engaged to her best friend and her safe space. She concluded her note by writing:

"Through ugly tears, shaky laughs, and the kind of happiness I can’t put into words. Because since 2022, it’s always been you. I’m engaged to my best friend!!! My safe place. My person.  Fav boy, fav city… and now, my fav YES! (First meal after had to be shake shack because our first conversation was around the love of the shroom burger! IYKYK."

For the special day, Anshula wore a gorgeous printed maxi dress. Her hair was tied in a bun, and she wore glasses. Her beau, Rohan, wore smart casuals. Another highlight of their engagement was the ring. Rohan chose a beautiful Toi Et Moi ring, which featured two pear-shaped diamonds. It means 'You and Me', and features two pear-shaped diamonds set in a way that resembles two people madly in love.
