Janhvi Kapoor is among the most admired actresses in the younger generation. She is the daughter of the late, veteran actress, Sridevi and film producer, Boney Kapoor. The young actress debuted in 2018 with Dhadak and hasn't looked back since then. She has a decent fan following and is often stopped by fans for pictures. Although Janhvi politely obliges with the request, recently, a fan crossed the line of respect with her. The video of the incident went viral, and netizens shared their views on it.

Social media and paparazzi culture have reduced the gap between stars and their fans. Sometimes, it makes a fan cross their boundary and recently, Janhvi Kapoor experienced it. The young actress, who is busy completing the shoot of her upcoming film, was spotted in the city. She was seen walking on her path when media and fans surrounded her to click photos. However, one female fan went close to Janhvi and tried to remove her mask to click a selfie with her.

Janhvi, visibly taken aback by the incident, gathered her composure and posed for the picture. She was dressed casually in a loose black outfit with oversized sleeves. The diva kept her makeup minimal, leaving her hair open to frame her face. A bodyguard accompanied Janhvi but didn't interfere after the Mr and Mrs Mahi actress posed with the fan, making her happy.

When the video of Janhvi Kapoor's female fan trying to remove her mask went viral, netizens were agitated over the behaviour. Some fans felt that celebrities are humans and fans shouldn't intrude on their personal space, while others appreciated Janhvi's patient response. One fan penned, "Please respect their privacy; you know her, but she doesn't know you." Another user commented, "No, this is not right; you must ask permission, not put your hand; this is why education is important in daily life."

One netizen highlighted that several actors must go through a similar experience and mentioned, "She has no right to touch her mask; she could have asked her to remove it. Fans need to know their limits. They are not obliged to listen to everything the public or paps say. I have seen it in several videos; the torture actors go through with the demand of fans and paps."
