Janhvi Kapoor Reveals Her Red Flag Habit As A GF, Wittily Shares Why Her Partner Can't Do The Same

Janhvi Kapoor is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming Sharan Sharma-directed film, Mr and Mrs Mahi, with her co-star, Rajkummar Rao. The actress has been setting major goals with her wardrobe choices for the promotions of her film. Janhvi also opened up about several anecdotes of her personal life, delighting her fans. In a recent interaction, the actress revealed that she often checks her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya’s phone.

Recently, a video of Janhvi Kapoor, which is now going viral on X, the actress can be seen making a shocking revelation about her relationship. In the clip, one of the fans asked the actress if a girlfriend should be allowed to check her boyfriend’s phone. To this, Janhvi replied that although she knows it is a red flag, she checks her boyfriend’s phone. She said in the video:

“I know it’s a red flag but I still check (my partner’s) phone.”

Soon after, someone in the audience asked Janhvi, “Should boyfriends be allowed to check their girlfriends’ phone?” To this, the actress instantly replied that a guy should never do that. Upon being asked the reason behind the same, Janhvi promptly asked:

“Kyu vishwaas nahi karte kya?”

Jahnvi Kapoor talked about Shikhar Pahariya being her support system

Earlier, in an interaction with Mirchi Plus, the host asked Janhvi Kapoor and her co-star, Rajkummar Rao, to name two people from their lives, who have been their support system. Responding to this, Janhvi first took her parents' name, stating that they have encouraged and supported her a lot. Then, she mentioned her boyfriend, Shikhar and revealed how he has always been there for her. She said:

“Apart from them, Shikhar because he’s been in my life since I was 15-16. I think my dreams have always been his dreams and his dreams have always been my dreams. We’ve been very close. We’ve been each other’s support system almost as if we’ve raised each other.”

On March 6, 2024, as Janhvi Kapoor turned a year older, taking to his IG stories, her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya posted two adorable photos to wish her. While the first photo showed Janhvi and Shikhar standing next to each other and sharing a side hug in front of the Eiffel Tower, the second picture featured the actress posing with her furry pets. Along with it, Shikhar penned:

"Love from all your babies."
