It was on December 15, 2024, when Atul Subhash's wife, Nikita, along with her family members, were arrested by the cops. While Nikta was caught in Gurugram, Haryana, her mom and brother, were arrested from Prayagraj. For the unversed, Nikita reportedly kept changing her locations, and she used WhatsApp calls, for which her location couldn't be tracked down. Moreover, only a phone call to one of her relatives helped the cops find out the location where she was and arrest her.
As per a report by The Times Of India, Nikita has denied the claims of harassing her husband, Atul Subhash, to such a point that he had to take the drastic step of committing suicide. Nikita stated that she has been separated from Atul for the last three years, and if she had harassed him for money, she surely wouldn't have separated from her husband.
Atul and Nikita married in 2019, and soon, problems started rising between them. Nikita, who is an employee of Accenture, filed a complaint in 2022, and she ended up filing 9 cases against her husband and in-laws. Atul and Nikita have a son, and the former was giving half of his salary to his wife for monthly maintenance. On the other hand, Nikita asked for Rs. 3 crore alimony, and she didn't even let the late techie meet his son. Finding no solution to the corrupt legal system that showed support to Nikita, Atul took this drastic step.
