'Kabita's Kitchen' Reveals Her Struggle On 'MasterChef', Married At Young Age, Shot Late Night, More

Celebrity MasterChef is winning hearts with celebrity contestants struggle to cook perfect dishes to impress the chef judges, Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Farah Khan. And let's confirm that it is not an easy task as contestants like Dipika Kakar, Nikki Tamboli, and Tejasswi Prakash are fighting to win the title. Amidst it, one contestant won the hearts of judges and the audience with her journey, and she is none other than Kabita Singh, who is famous for her YouTube cooking channel, Kabita's Kitchen.

Kabita Singh gets appreciated on the show, Celebrity MasterChef

In the latest promo for Celebrity MasterChef, Kabita Singh was appreciated, and in the Hall of Fame, her picture was shown with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. It seemed to be a special moment for her on the show. When Farah Khan asked her when the picture was taken. Kabita revealed it was in 2014 that she started her cooking channel. And after 10 years, she was recognised for her work and received a national award from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Kabita Singh was married early, but her husband supported her dreams

In the promo, Kabita revealed that she was married early as her family didn't allow working girls. After graduating, her father got her married. However, it was her husband who always supported her and told her that he would stand behind her whenever she needed him.

"Jab shaadi hui 2009 mein toh mere husband ne kaha tum jo karna chahti ho life mein vo karo, mai her samay tumhare saath khada hoon."

Kabita Singh would shoot late-night videos 

Kabita Singh, who is a homemaker and a mother of two, revealed that she would make food for the family the entire day and look after her family. It was late in the night, at 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., when she would shoot videos for her cooking channel, and after her kids would sleep. Talking about the voiceover, she added that she would record it after her kids would sleep in the night. She said:

"Fir jab mai ne apna YouTube channel shuru kiya tha toh mai subah se lekar shaam take baccho or khana kaam karti thi or mai raat ko video shoot karti thi 11 se 2-3 baje tak. Video recipe raat ko shoot karti thi or 1-3 (afternoon) kitchen mein dhoop aata tha toh mai kitchen mein phone rakh kar intro shoot karti thi. Voiceover humesha bacho ke sone ke baad karti thi kyunki second floor par ghar tha."

Kabita revealed that she had faced a lot of struggles, but she never felt it as she enjoyed the process of it. She was quoted as saying:

 Toh bahut saari struggles hai lekin us samay par mai ne realise nahi kara. Ki mai us phase se gujar rahi hoon kyunki mujhe acha lagta tha jab log comment karte the, log mere kaam ko appreciate karte the."
