Kajol REJECTS Nysa Devgan Joining Bollywood, Reveals Nepo Kids Undergoing 'Harsh, Ridiculous And..'

Kajol is one of the most successful actresses of the '90s film industry. She is known for her amazing acting career and staying relevant in 2025 as well. Kajol is also married to a successful actor, Ajay Devgn, who is famously known as 'Singham' for his funny action-comedy films. It was obvious for their fans to think that their kids will also become part of the entertainment world. It is the reason why Nysa was often papped. Recently, Kajol dismissed the buzz of whether her daughter will join films or not.

Kajol dismissed Nysa Devgan from the film industry

Recently, Kajol, in an interview with ETimes, talked about Nysa's decision to join the film industry. She clearly dismissed the idea of Nysa joining Bollywood at the age of 22. Kajol added that it is her daughter who has made up her mind about not joining the film industry. She said:

"She's not stepping into acting. She is 22 years old and she has pretty much made up her mind that she's not going to be joining the industry."

Kajol also expressed her thoughts on nepotism and people being unkind and cruel to nepo kids, and giving them the tag of nepo baby. She also talked about the pros and cons of the film industry, and some of the harsh, ridiculous and horrible judgments. She said:

"When you enter the film industry, you have to realise that there are pros and cons and you will be subjected to scrutiny. Some of it is harsh, some of it is ridiculous and horrible, but it is all part of your growth and journey. It is something that everyone has to face. It's not something you have a choice about."

When Kajol's daughter, Nysa Devgan's graduation ceremony

Kajol and Ajay Devgn's 22-year-old daughter, Nysa, graduated from Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland. A while ago, a video from her graduation ceremony has been surfacing on the internet. In the clip, Nysa's name was called, and the head teacher, whom she had first met, quickly adjusted her graduation cap. Then, she received her degree and smiled for the pictures. 

However, one could clearly hear Kajol's loud voice as she loudly cheered for her daughter, Nysa. Looked a bit uncomfortable, but she knows how proud her mother is, she posted with her degree. It was a wholesome moment, and fans pointed out Kajol's voice was easily recognisable among 100 people. In the clip, Kajol was saying:

"Come on, baby!"

When Kajol talked about her daughter being followed by photographers

Kajol, who is in the headlines for her recently released film, Sarzameen, revealed how she managed to raise her kids, Nysa and Yug, in the midst of huge media attention. Talking about it, Kajol revealed that her daughter has been hounded by cameras since the age of 14 and 15 which was not right. She said:

"We've had a lot of conversations over it, and I know for a fact that my daughter especially has been hounded [by cameras] since she was 14 or 15, which is not correct. It was not right."
