Parenthood is bliss and the very feeling of it is euphoric! A little dollop of happiness invading a newbie parents’ life can be the most amazing feeling ever! Trust us you, no other happiness in the world can be compared to the feeling of being parents for the first time. And if pictures are to believed, it will not be very long when someone will call ‘Comedy King’, Kapil Sharma and his wife, Ginni Chatrath, ‘papa’ and ‘mamma’! It was on December 12, 2018, when Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath had gotten married in an Anand Karaj wedding and a Hindu wedding. Amidst a series of wedding receptions hosted for various sets of people, it was Kapil and Ginni’s Mumbai wedding reception for stars from the industry which had garnered a lot of eyeballs. While we all were patiently waiting for more sneak peeks into this duo’s life, it was in May 2019, just a few months after their wedding when news came about that Ginni is expecting and that the both of them are soon going to be parents. However, none of them has yet accepted or denied the rumours.
A few days back, we had shared with you, a report by Pinkvilla, which contained details about Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s babymoon. A source had shared with the portal, “Kapil will be taking off to Canada for around 10 days with wife Ginni as he hasn't taken her for a long-overdue proper honeymoon so far. Ginni who is almost 3-4 months pregnant now has been very much patient with Kapil when it comes to adjusting to his schedule, and hence, Kapil has decided to take this time off.” And thus, Kapil and Ginni were clicked at the airport, complementing each other in black and grey as they finally left for their babymoon in Canada. Ginni happily smiled for the camera as she flaunted her baby bump, with the pregnancy glow quite evident on her face. Here is the picture:
To share with you more details about Kapil Sharma’s wife, Ginni Chatrath’s pregnancy, the duo is expecting their first child in December 2019. A report had also suggested that Kapil’s mom, Janak Rani, has flown down to Mumbai to stay with her expecting daughter-in-law. A source had shared with the Mumbai Mirror, “They got the good news just a few days ago, Ginni’s due date is in December. Kapil has been busy with the shoot of his eponymous comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, but he has now scheduled his shoot in a way that he gets to spend more with her. She too has been accompanying him on the shoot so they can spend time together." The source had further added, "His colleagues ensure that she is well looked after on the set. At home, Kapil’s mother is taking care of her. Ginni’s family has also flown down from Jalandhar." As we have already mentioned that neither Kapil Sharma nor his wife, Ginni Chatrath has opened up about the latter’s pregnancy, but a tiny instance on The Kapil Sharma Show gave us a larger-than-life hint! On May 26, 2019, TKSS had legendary singer, Usha Uthup as the celeb guest. Whenever the show is aired, it showcases BTS views before the beginning of an episode. In a glimpse shown at the same, Kapil was heard saying, “Yeh kaun hai itna chota bacha? Dekho kitni choti and pyari audience ayi hai”, upon spotting a baby as one of his audiences. To which, Usha ji had instantly shared, “Is that yours? Not yours na?” To which, Kapil had a funny reply which also served as a subtle hint towards confirming his wife, Ginni’s pregnancy. He had stated, “Nahin mera abhi kahan, abhi bhi 9 mahine to lagte hain.” (*wink wink*)

Talking about Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s love story, in an interview with the Bombay Times, the duo had revealed it all! They had first met in college and Ginni would bring food for him every day out of respect. Kapil had also shared how he had once directly asked her if she likes him and she had denied it. He had recalled, “My friend told me that Ginni likes me, but I rubbished him. One day, I directly asked Ginni, ‘Tu mujhe like toh nahi karti?’ and she denied. Later, at a youth festival, I introduced her to my mother as one of my students."
Kapil Sharma had further stated, “Then I came to Mumbai for the 'Laughter Challenge' audition and by then, I had also appeared on a Punjabi TV channel. Ginni was impressed with me because I was studying and working at such a young age. When I got rejected for 'Laughter Challenge', I called her and said, ‘Please don’t call me’. I felt that our friendship has no future, as her financial condition was better and we belonged to different castes. So, we took a break. When I got selected for Laughter Challenge after auditioning again, she called to congratulate me."
