Ever since Bollywood’s ace filmmaker, Karan Johar became a proud father of twins, Yash Johar and Roohi Johar, he has been taking his fatherly duties quite seriously and his life revolves around them. Whenever Karan posts any picture or video of his twins on social media, Yash and Roohi never fail to melt our hearts. On April 29, 2018, Karan shared a photo posing with his golden-haired son Yash, and their picture is shot against the backdrop which has Karan's pictures with his parents, Yash Johar and Hiroo Johar. Karan captioned the picture as, "Namesakes in one frame!" And on April 30, 2018, the doting father, Karan shared the picture of his darling daughter, Roohi in which is seen all smiles showing off her two teeth. Wearing a white frock with black dots over it, Roohi surely knows how to pose for a camera, just like her father. Karan captioned it as, "My Roohi".
On March 31, 2018, Karan tweeted a moment of his mini-meltdown, something that every father waits for and when it happens, the wait is totally worth it. That emotional moment is when your child calls you ‘papa’. And that moment came to Karan’s life, and he tweeted his feelings on Twitter, “She said “Papa”! It’s time for my mini-meltdown!”
On March 18, 2018, Karan’s mother, Hiroo Johar’s 75th birthday, he shared a family portrait on his Instagram account and captioned it, "My family!" In the picture, Yash and Roohi can be seen sitting on their grandmother’s laps and Karan is standing behind them. Well, that what we call a perfect family picture!

Earlier, there were reports that Karan Johar might take a sabbatical from his work to spend some quality time with his twin toddlers, Yash Johar and Roohi Johar. But as per the reports of a leading daily, a source was quoted as saying, "He isn’t taking any break. Karan is going to be everywhere, doing everything he loves doing." Refuting such rumours, Karan stated, "My babies are beautiful, and I have all the time in the world for them. They’re my lifelines and the reason for me to go into the 2.0 version of my life. But work is also a big part of who I am, and creating Dharma Productions, and taking it to a higher level is pretty much a big dream I have." In an interview with Pinkvilla, Karan was asked if being a father to Yash and Roohi has changed him over a year, he retorted, "Well, it hasn't changed me, it just made me happier. If that's a change, then that's a welcome change. I’m just happier and much more satisfied with my existence." He further added, “It's given me a big reason to live with a certain amount of energy and vigour for the next three decades of my life. On the International Women’s Day, on March 8, 2018, Karan shared a heartfelt message for his one-year-old daughter, Roohi, and wrote, “I was raised by a woman who had a strong mind, an independent mind and a solid soul. She taught me how to live a fearless life along with a strong sense of right and wrong! She also taught me the art of abandon! She made me the man I am, a man who is honoured to be raised by a woman of substance! Yash Johar and Roohi Johar are named after their grandparents and are an essential part of Karan Johar and Hiroo Johar’s lives.
