Well, another video of Kareena grabbed the attention, which featured her interaction with Bobby Deol. This video came years after the buzz about Bobby's wife, Tanya slapping the actress.

Recently, a clip from the IIFA press conference made rounds on social media. In the clip, Kareena was seen engaged in a playful conversation with Bobby Deol. Kareena looked gorgeous in a newspaper-printed skirt-top, while Bobby opted for a grey-hued pant-suit. In the clip, Karan Johar was seen standing in between Bobby and Kareena, and they were in a light mood as they posed alongside one another.

Moreover, it was Kareena's playful interaction with Bobby that grabbed the attention, and it came years after the actress said she didn't like his wife, Tanya. This confession was followed by a rumour, which was never confirmed by both sides. As per a report by Koimoi, Kareena was once slapped by Tanya Deol. While this buzz seems to be an exaggeration, it was reported that it was caused by Bipasha Basu.

Reportedly, when Bipasha was a newcomer in the industry, Tanya thought to help her. She allegedly assisted her with her outfits in the movie, Ajnabee. This didn't go well with Kareena's mom, Babita, who schooled Tanya on the same matter. Well, Bobby's wife was reportedly clueless about why Babita reacted like this, and she also blasted her back. Reportedly, Kareena too, didn't like Tanya helping Bipasha, and she was slapped by Bobby's wife on the sets of Ajnabee.

Whether the slapping incident was true or just was a rumour couldn't be confirmed, as they never admitted the same. Well, it was Kareena, who once, in an interview with Filmfare, talked about not liking Tanya Deol. She reportedly said that she didn't like the way Tanya behaved with her mom. She commented that she had an issue with Tanya, but her issues with Bobby could be sorted out, and there's no negativity on her end. Kareena reportedly said:

"Actually, there was a problem with his (Bobby Deol) wife, Tanya. She didn’t behave properly with my mother. And I didn’t like that. I don’t deny a problem with Bobby’s wife. But I’m sure my problems with Bobby can be sorted out. There’s no negativity from my end.”

Bobby Deol was replaced by Shahid Kapoor on Jab We Met

Jab We Met has been one of Kareena Kapoor's iconic films. A controversy began around the movie when Bobby Deol said that he was the one to curate the idea of JWM but later got replaced with Shahid. However, in 2023, in an interview, Imtiaz Ali said that he had waited for two years for Bobby so that he could finish his other projects and they could work on JWM but it couldn't happen as the actor couldn't align his schedule in a way that he could do the film.
