Karisma Kapoor's Ex-Husband, Sanjay Kapur's First Wife, Nandita Invited To Her Brother's 'Sangeet'

Karisma Kapoor seems to have faced an ugly encounter as she comes under the same roof as her ex-husband, Sanjay Kapur's first wife, Nandita Mahtani. For those who don't know, Karisma Kapoor's ex, Sanjay Kapur, was married to Nandita Mahtani, but their marriage was short-lived, and they parted ways in 2001. It was in 2003 when Sanjay Kapur went on to marry Karisma.

Nandita Mahtani arrived in style with her friend, Karan Johar. For the event, Nandita was dressed up in an ivory-toned and gold foil-printed lehenga. Her outfit featured a strappy bralette-style choli. She kept her look minimal with a diamond neckpiece and matching earrings. Subtle makeup in a dewy pink tone and pin-straight hair completed her look for Aadar Jain's celebration.

Talking about Karisma's look for her brother Aadar's wedding, she picked a Raw Mango lehenga. Her outfit featured a long scallop kurta with a flared skirt. She kept her makeup glamorous with bold pink lips and hair tied in a statement parandi. She looked not a year older than 20.

According to reports, there was a time when Nandita Mahtani and Karisma Kapoor were friends and had the same friendship cycle. In fact, Karisma had visited her store in Mumbai. However, there have been reports that the two ladies share a cordial bond as Nandita maintained a dignified silence when Karisma Kapoor was going through an ugly divorce from Sanjay Kapur. 

According to a report by The Times Of Indi, a source revealed that Karisma and Nandita were always cordial to each other whenever they met at a common friend's party. The source was quoted as saying:

"Nandita had maintained a dignified silence when Lolo was going through a bad patch in her marriage. Lolo appreciated that and was very warm to Nandita in return, whenever they met at common friends' parties. And, anyway, why can't you be friends with your husband's former wife?"

According to several reports, Nandita Mahtani, who is a famous designer, had also dated Ranbir Kapoor. It was during the actor's initial days in the industry, and in one of the interviews, Ranbir had even admitted to having a crush on her. However, it seems like their relationship was short-lived.
