KPop Demon Hunters musical group, HUNTR/X featuring EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, made their first full live appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The singing trio behind the KPop Demon Hunters' global hit song, 'Golden', delivered a crowd-thrilling performance and won everyone's hearts with their high-energy. The synchronised choreography of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami was absolutely mesmerising.
During the segment, the stunning singers, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami were also honoured with the platinum record award for the mammoth success of their chart-topping single, Golden. The track achieved a perfect all-kill in South Korea and also topped the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. KPop Demon Hunters was released on Netflix on June 20, 2025, and the animated musical urban fantasy movie became an instant hit globally.
KPop Demon Hunters is co-directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, and its blend of K-pop with supernatural action has become a cultural milestone for global K-pop and animation communities. The film revolves around three characters, Rumi (voiced by Arden Cho), Mira (voiced by May Hong), and Zoey (voiced by Ji-young Yoo). The trio lives double lives as singers of their K-pop girl group, Huntr/x and demon hunters. The film amassed over 325 million views during the first 91 days of its release and became Netflix's most-watched original title.
KPop Demon Hunters also received critical acclaim for their authentic representation of the Korean culture, and the film's global influence has once again sparked attention of K-pop's rising presence across the world. According to some reports, a sequel is already in development, and fans are already rooting for the singing trio of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami to build on the success of Golden. EJAE kick-started her singing journey with Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters and broke headlines with her global hit song, Golden. Her solo debut album, In Another World, is set to be released in October 2025. With 390K followers on her Instagram handle (ejae_k), she is emerging as a rising star in K-pop. However, not everyone knows that she studied music and psychology at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and spent almost a decade as a trainee at SM Entertainment. EJAE is the granddaughter of legendary Korean actor, Shin Young-kyun. Regarding EJAE's dating life, she is not currently in a relationship and is entirely focused on her work.

The Korean-American singer, Audrey Nuna, who is from New Jersey, rose to fame as a teenager for uploading creative song covers on her Instagram handle (audreynuna). To pursue her passion for singing full-time, she dropped out of NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. She gained instant success in the music industry for blending R&B, pop and rap. She is currently on her 'Trench' world tour after the massive success of KPop Demon Hunters. Rei Ami was born in Seoul as Sarah Yeeun Lee and moved to Maryland, USA, when she was just six years old. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in communications, she pursued her passion for singing. She made her debut with Make It Mine in August 2019, but later that year, her song, Showcone, came out, bringing her immense fame. Courtesy of her bold artistry, she got the opportunity to work in KPop Demon Hunters, which earned her global acclaim. She currently has 303K followers on her Instagram handle (rei.ami), a figure that continues to rise. However, Rei Ami isn't relaxing and is doing everything to continue to take her rise to another level. She isn't dating anyone at the moment and is solely focused on her career.
