Mahhi Vij Pens Heartfelt Note For Dipika Kakar After Her Liver Tumour Diagnosis, 'Strongest Woman..'

Dipika Kakar has been a prominent actress in the Hindi television industry for more than a decade. She recently shocked her fans after her husband, Shoaib, informed about her liver tumour diagnosis to fans. He asked for their good wishes for the actress, who is undergoing more medical tests before the future course of treatment can be decided. 

Known for her stellar work in Sasural Simar Ka, Bigg Boss 12 and Nach Baliye 8, the actress has been away from acting after embracing motherhood in 2023. Despite that, her diagnosis announcement received instant concern and support from other industry insiders who extended their good wishes for her. Among them, TV actress, Mahhi Vij's heartfelt post was admired by fans.

Mahhi Vij sent love and good wishes to Dipika Kakar

Mahhi Vij has been a popular TV actress who has stepped back from the small screen after welcoming her daughter, Tara. However, she continues to be an active content creator on Instagram. She recently took to the platform to share an empowering note for Dipika Kakar, who was recently discharged from the hospital. She shared a photo of Dipika in her IG Stories section and mentioned that Dipika is among the strongest women she knows. Mahhi wished her good health and added that she loves her. In her words:

"Get well soon to the strongest woman I know. I love you, ok."

Mahhi and Dipika, both have been leading ladies in the Television industry for more than a decade. However, both of them have been away from the medium as they continue to focus on their families after embracing motherhood. Apart from Mahhi, Dipika's former co-star, Jayati Bhatia, also shared her good wishes for her. Sharing her concern and prayers for the latter, Jayati said to Tellymasala:

"I told them I’m praying, and everything will be fine. I’m sending my energy, good vibes, blessings and wishes to them… both Shoaib and Dipika replied to my message… Dipika is a good child, a good soul. Aur usne hamesha dusron ke baare mein bhala he socha hai...So sab accha hi hoga."

Shoaib Ibrahim revealed how Dipika Kakar was diagnosed with a liver tumour 

Dipika Kakar's husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, took to his YouTube handle earlier this week and shared a video where he informed about Dipika Kakar's health diagnosis. He revealed that it all started when Dipika complained about stomach pain for the past few days, and it didn't get better with regular pills. Consequently, the doctor asked them to get scans done, which showed that the actress had a large tumour in the left lobe of her liver, almost as big as a tennis ball. As of now, initial results have shown no signs of cancer cells, but they are still awaiting a few crucial reports for confirmation. Sharing how surgery is required in this case, Shoaib said:

"The blood test reports came, which indicated that she had an infection in her body. Our doctor asked us to visit again, and when we met him, he asked us to do a CT scan. And it showed that Dipika had a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger, like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us… Thankfully, none of the results so far have shown any signs of cancer… But Haan, Dipika ke liver mein tumour hai, she will undergo surgery… Please pray for her health."

Dipika Kakar began working as a flight attendant and later stepped into the Television industry in 2010 with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi. However, she got the biggest success of her career after she played the titular role of 'Simar Bhardwaj' in Sasural Simar Ka. The show was a big success and ran for more than six years, which made Dipika a household name. She later worked in more shows like Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum and turned towards reality shows like Bigg Boss 12, Nach Baliye 8, and Entertainment Ki Raat. Dipika tied the knot with her Sasural Simar Ka co-actor, Shoaib Ibrahim, and they welcomed their son, Ruhaan, in 2023. She made her long-awaited comeback with Celebrity MasterChef in 2025 but had to leave midway due to an arm injury.
