For Mahira, Paras was one of her most loyal friends in the Bigg Boss house. They had never given a tag to their relationship, but their fans and near ones used to fondly call them 'Pahira'. From uploading cute videos to commenting on each other's social media handles, the ex-pair had done it all.

Paras had taken weeks to admit that he was more than just 'good friends' with Mahira Sharma. He had once revealed that he was open to the possibility of marriage with Mahira if things were meant to pan out in that direction. He had also admitted his mom, Ruby was extremely fond of the actress. A fan of the duo had made a wedding card of the ex-pair that had taken social media by storm. Paras in an interview with the Times Of India shared:

"I really liked the wedding card and I really appreciate my fans’ gesture. They love to see Mahira and me together and that’s why they made it. It feels great to see their love for Pahira. And in future, if things go that way, why not? Mahira was also happy and she told me, ‘Yaar, card toh bada sundar hai."

A report by ETimes revealed that the constant fights between Paras and Mahira had gone out of control, due to which the duo parted ways. Mahira had archived all her pictures with Paras and had also unfollowed the actor. Despite living in the same city, Mumbai, the former couple did not hang out together. Paras had admitted to Shefali Jariwala in a podcast of being in a 3-year-long relationship. He said:

"Main toh single hoon filhaal. Aap ke saamne he tha joh bhi tha relationship, joh shuru hua tha Bigg Boss mein. Ek joh tha joh continue hua 2-3 saal tak. Toh bus wohi live-in mein the hum, toh jaise maine kaha live-in ke zyaada tar relationship kharab he hote hain."
