Remember Sunil Lahiri, who played the role of 'Lakshman' in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan? Krish is the son of the veteran actor and is best known for his work in Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar. Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Krish shared of how he was raised by a single mom as his parents got separated when he was barely nine months. Krish, despite being raised by a single mom, has had a good relationship even with his dad. In an interview with Filmibeat, he was asked about the challenges of being raised by a single mom, Krish said:

"Living with a single mother made me tougher. But I used to get upset as a kid watching my friends enjoying themselves with both their parents. However, gradually, I learned to deal with it better. I share a lovely bond with my father, too. I believe that children should be raised right, no matter if parents raise them as a couple or by themselves."

Krish Pathak never believed in marriage until he met Ssara Khan

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Ssara revealed that she was already ready to settle down, and Krish shared that both of them are planning to have a grand wedding on December 5, 2025. What has actually stood out is that Krish was never raised in a traditional home where marriage was seen as something which was not needed. Krish was raised by a single mom, and in his eyes, marriage was not something that was meant to happen in the lives of all. However, his meeting with Ssara changed his entire perception of weddings.

Krish shared that his December wedding with Ssara will have a lot of naach gaana and celebrations. For the uninitiated, the love story of the pair began on a dating app. The first time Sara saw Krish on a dating app, she felt a sense of belonging. They had started off chatting after meeting the next day. Ssara at one end told Krish that she was not looking for anything casual and wanted to settle. Speaking of his Gen Z love story, Krish said:

"Both of us were coming out of heartbreaks. I never saw myself as the marrying kind because I was raised by a single mother and didn’t grow up around the idea of marriage."

When Krish Pathak spoke about not seeing himself as a star kid

Krish is often called Sunil Lahiri's son, but the actor shared that he is self-made and faced rejections that actually made him stronger in life. In an earlier interview with ETimes, he shared that he never wanted to be a star but had the keeda. He had studied in a military school and was to join the Army after graduation, but acting was in his blood. He did have to struggle to find work and face his set of rejections.
