Mirai, the fantasy action film starring Teja Sajja, has grossed Rs. 143.9 crore worldwide. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, Mirai revolves around a 'Yodha' (played by Teja Sajja). Alongside Teja, the film also featured Manchu Manoj and Ritika Nayak. It was the showdown between 'Super Yodha' and 'Black Sword' that stole the spotlight. Now, after a successful run at the box office, the film has paved its way to the OTTs.
For the unversed, Karthik Gattamneni’s directorial, Mirai, hit the theatres on September 12, 2025. The fantasy action adventure film, starring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, and Ritika Nayak, has already garnered a lot of attention for its storyline, which has a deep connection to mythology. Now that Teja Sajja starrer is set to debut on OTT, let’s find out when and where to watch it. According to an official statement issued by the streaming platform, JioHotstar, Mirai is scheduled to stream on October 10, 2025. Sharing that the film will be available on JioHotstar, they wrote:
"Nine scriptures. Infinite power. One Super Yodha to protect the Brahmand. #Mirai, India’s own superhero, is coming to your home, streaming from October 10."
In Mirai, Teja Sajja plays the role of 'Vedha Prajapati', a carefree orphan from Hyderabad, who transforms into 'Super Yodha'. 'Vedha' didn’t have any idea about his roots, but he gets dragged into the intense fight when 'Mahabir Lama' (played by Manchu Manoj) poses as a threat. Manchu Manoj is the antagonist, also known as 'Black Sword', a ruthless individual whose sole motive is to gain immortality.
Ritika Nayak portrays the role of 'Vibha', a wise monk from the Himalayas who guides 'Vedha' on his path to self-discovery. At the same time, Shriya Saran plays the role of 'Ambika', 'Vedha's' mother and one of the protectors of the sacred scriptures. Years ago, after the horrifying Kalinga war, Emperor Ashoka was heartbroken by the loss of countless innocent lives. To prevent such destruction in the future, he hid the secret of immortality within the nine sacred books and handed them to his most trusted guardians.
Centuries later, in the year 2000, 'Ambika', 'Vedha's' mother, who could foresee the future, guarded the ninth and most powerful book. However, a villain named 'Mahabir Lama' managed to obtain some of the sacred books to become immortal and rule the world. When 'Ambika' realised that the situation might turn worse, she made a fateful decision to connect her son, 'Vedha Prajapati' (Teja Sajja), to the ancient legacy of the sacred scriptures.

Under 'Vibha's' guidance, 'Vedha' learns about his true destiny. The climax features a breathtaking showdown between 'Vedha' and Black Sword, who tries to use the ninth scripture, known as 'Mirai', a divine weapon created during Lord Ram’s era. During the battle, 'Vedha' understands that 'Mirai' is not just a weapon of destruction but a symbol of compassion and balance. The movie ends with 'Vedha' defeating 'Black Sword' by using wisdom over power. The world is saved, and the ninth scripture remains protected. 'Vedha' also embodies his role as the 'Super Yodha', demonstrating that good always prevails over evil.
