The newlyweds Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are head-over-heels in love with one another. From promotions to media interactions, Chaitanya never misses a chance to talk about his wife, Sobhita. The actor is busy promoting his much-awaited film, Thandel, and in a pre-release event, he reveals why Sobhita got upset over a song from the film.
One of the songs from Thandel features a song called Bujji Thalli, which means longing for love. Interestingly, Chaitanya uses the term as a nickname for Sobhita. So, when the song was released, his real-life ‘Bujji Thalli’ got upset over the usage of the word in the song. The actor revealed that he used to call Sobhita ‘Bujji Thalli’ back home. Revealing why Sobhita got upset, Chaitanya shared:
“Sobhita was a little upset when the ‘Bujji Thalli’ song was released. She feels ‘Bujji Thalli’ was reserved exclusively for her. But, I had to use it in the film.”
During the promotions of Thandel at Visakhapatnam, Chaitanya revealed why the city is special to him. The actor stated that he calls his wife, Sobhita, affectionately 'Vizag ammay' meaning (Vizag girl). He also said that her roots in Vizag dominate his house. In Chay's words:
"Vizag is so close to my heart that I fell in love with a Vizag girl and married her. Now, there's a piece of Vizag in my home too. Even in my household, the ruling party is Vizag. So, brothers, I have a small request—Thandel should rock Vizag's box office; otherwise, I'll lose my honour at home. Please!"
