Honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi's mother, Heeraben Modi, left for her heavenly abode on December 30, 2022. The Prime Minister was extremely close to his mother, and time and again, the doting son has expressed his love for his mother and her role in his life. Moreover, despite his busy schedule, Narendra Modi always took out time to pay a visit to his mother, who lived with his younger brother, Pankaj Modi, in Gujarat.
PM Narendra Modi was expected to visit West Bengal to launch a series of projects, but after hearing the saddening news, he immediately left for Ahmedabad. Moreover, as per the sources, the programmes will go ahead as planned, and the Prime Minister might join them through video conferencing. This is indeed a difficult time for Narendra Modi, and the doting son shared a picture of his mother on his Twitter handle and penned:
“In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values. When I met her on her 100th birthday, she said one thing - 'Always remember - Work with intelligence, live life with purity'.”

Earlier, a report by the news agency PTI stated that Narendra Modi's mother, Heeraben Modi was admitted to a hospital after her health reportedly deteriorated on December 27, 2022. She was taken to UN Mehta hospital in Ahmedabad, and the team of doctors revealed that the condition of PM Modi's mother was stable at that time, but had not shared any other information.
Narendra Modi's mother, Heeraben Modi turned 100 years old this year, and being a doting son, Narendra Modi, spent her special day with her in Gujarat. On June 18, 2022, the PM met his mother on her 100th birthday, but their meeting lasted just for half an hour. The doting son washed his mother's feet and put a garland of red roses around her neck, winning hearts with his beautiful gestures. He also gave a beautiful shawl to his mother and fed little pieces of sweets to each other. Pictures from the same were all over the internet, and it was simply unmissable.

From praising her for all the sacrifices she had made in her life for him and their family to always having his back, Narendra Modi showered immense love on his mother in his blog. He also admitted that it was a moment of immense happiness for him as his mother, Heeraben Modi turned 100.
