Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Mishra are enjoying the best phase of their life with the arrival of their little daughter. The couple got married in January 2023, and in April 2024, they announced the good news. Moreover, after keeping us melted with adorable glimpses from her pregnancy journey and her maternity fashion, Masaba finally announced the birth of her little Lakshmi on October 12, 2024. Now, the newbie grandma, Neena Gupta shared her daughter's first reaction after giving birth to a baby girl.

In a recent interview with NDTV, Neena Gupta said that Masaba always wanted to have a baby girl. The actress further added that after giving birth to her girl child, Masaba first said, 'Thank God', and she could use the former's bags and obviously jewels. Talking about how it feels like to be a grandmom, Neena mentioned that she's still sinking in about a little member coming to their home. She also added that she's taking care of her daughter while the latter is taking care of her little one. In Neena's words:

"Masaba wanted a girl. The first thing she said was 'Thank God'. She can use all my bags and jewellery. It's still sinking in. I don't know about becoming a grandmother but I know a new member has come. I am taking care of my daughter. I told Masaba,"You take care of your daughter, I'll take care of you."

It was on October 14, 2024, when taking to her IG handle, Neena Gupta shared the most adorable photo with the new member of their family. In the photo, Neena was seen holding the little one close to her heart. Neena was dressed in a white shirt, while the little princess was covered in a printed swaddle. The photo was indeed dreamy, and it screamed pure love. Sharing the photos, the proud grandmom penned the sweetest caption, which could be read as:

"Meri beti ki beti - Rab rakha."

In a collaborative post, Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Mishra dropped an adorable baby announcement post. The first photo featured an illustration of a lotus, wherein the details of their baby girl's birth were written. Another photo was a glimpse of the new member of Satyadeep and Masaba's family. In the photo, Satyadeep was seen holding the teeny tiny feet of their baby girl, and such a post amid the festive season blew us away completely.

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, then-pregnant Masaba expressed her wish to become a hands-on mom just like her own mother. The fashion designer said that she would be great in some areas, while she would be imperfect in some, but she wanted to learn through the process. Masaba further added that she didn't want to burden her mom with a lot of baby duties, as the latter has her own life as well. Masaba revealed one tip/advice she had gotten from her mom and mentioned that she had no expectation that her child would turn greater. Masaba shared that Neena had told her:

"A child can be born and be raised very well and become anything that you imagine or aspire the child to be from a footpath and from a mansion."
