Karwa Chauth holds importance in the life of every married woman as it is the day to celebrate and pray for the long life of her husband. From sargi to karwa badalna, from dressing up to waiting for chaand, every married woman waits for this day the whole year. For them, it is their way to express their love for their pati, and in recent times, some patis also decide to fast for their better-halves. We have grown up watching Karwa Chauth celebrations in movies and TV shows, wondering what would be the feel of the festival and thus, it becomes extra special for every newly-married woman. They are even more excited to observe their first fast as it is a new experience for them and it is their way to say ‘I love you’ to their partner.

Niti Taylor had tied the knot with her fiancé, Parikshit Bawa on August 13, 2020, in an intimate ceremony at a Gurudwara in Gurgaon, which was attended only by their parents and immediate family members. For her wedding, Niti Taylor had opted for a gorgeous lehenga by Payal Keyal and had looked ethereal. While her wedding announcement had come as surprise for her fans, we still drool over her wedding looks and post-wedding glow. The festival of Karwa Chauth makes us believe in the power of love as not everybody has the willpower to fast for the entire day and wait for the chaand to break their fast. It is hard to stay sane the entire day without food and water, but it is love that conquers the struggle. The festival is a great, pure and sacred way to express a husband and wife’s love for each other and we simply cannot wait to watch these gorgeous newly married women, performing their first Karwa Chauth rituals!
