Pahalgam Attack: Late Navy Officer, Lt Vinay Narwal's Wife, Himanshi Talking To Him Clip Surfaces

There has hardly been anyone who has not lamented over the loss of 26 lives in the Pahalgam terror attack that took place on April 22, 2025, in Baisaran meadow, Pahalgam. One of the victims who met an unfortunate fate was late Lieutenant, Vinay Narwal from the Indian Navy, who was on his honeymoon with his wife, Himanshi, in Kashmir. Little did they know that their trip to Kashmir would be the worst nightmare of their lives. Now, an unseen video of Himanshi has circulated where she could be seen patting the forehead of her late martyred husband, Vinay, as he was wrapped in a tricolour during his last rites.

The late Lieutenant officer, Vinay got married to Himanshi on April 16, 2025. However, six days later, on April 22, 2025, they were on their honeymoon to Pahalgam, and on April 23, 2025, Vinay's dad, Rajesh Narwal and his twin sister, Srishti, performed the last rites. Now, a heartwrenching unseen video from Vinay's last rites has gone viral, where his wife, Himanshi, could be seen standing next to his pyre, tapping his forehead, crying, the terrorists in cold blood daylight killed the love of her life, just because he was a Hindu.

The video is extremely heartbreaking as Himanshi was seen crying, talking to Vinay as he lay motionless, after succumbing to his untimely death. Himanshi was inconsolable as she bid a teary goodbye to her officer husband, with whom she had seen a plethora of dreams.

The widow of the late officer, Himanshi, bid Vinay a heartbreaking goodbye on April 23, 2025. Lt. Narwal was posted in Kerala's Kochi Naval base and was on a planned leave for his wedding and birthday on May 1, 2025. Himanshi said:

"I hope his soul rests in peace. He lived a good life. It is because of him that the world is still surviving. And we should all be proud of him, in every way.”

Himanshi wore a white suit and cried her lungs out as she hugged the coffin of her brave husband. She prayed for the shanti of his soul and could not control her tears. Her family members held her tight, and she ended her emotional speech by hailing, 'Jai Hind'.

Vinay Narwal's last rites were held in Haryana

Narwal's family is broken and shattered beyond repair. Vinay's grandfather, Hawa Singh in an interview with the press, requested that the government give such people (attackers) strict punishment and end terrorism by any means necessary. Vinay's antim sanskar was done in Karnal, Haryana in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Punjab’s Finance Minister, AAP leader Harpal Singh Cheema. Vinay's neighbour, Naresh Bansal, shared that after the marriage, everyone was celebrating and in a happy mood. 

Seema, who was another neighbour, shared that there was a big celebration in the entire neighbourhood and not just in their family. They were planning a honeymoon in Switzerland, but decided to go to Kashmir instead, taking into account the leave he had. The pain of the Karnal family is unimaginable.
