Pamela Bach passed away on March 5, 2025, and the cause of her death has shaken the entire Hollywood. According to a report on BBC, Pamela was found dead inside her residence in the Hollywood Hills. Pamela Bach's cause of death was suicide, and it has been confirmed by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office. The iconic Hollywood actress passed away at the age of 62 due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Soon after Pamela Bach's suicide, her ex-husband, David Hasselhoff, released an official statement in which he confirmed the news of his ex-wife's death with a heavy heart. In his statement, David Hasselhoff thanked everyone for supporting his family during this difficult time. For the unversed, Pamela is survived by her two daughters, Hayley and Taylor Ann.
An excerpt from David Hasselhoff's statement can be read as "We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time." As per the New York Post, Pamela's daughter, Hayley was spotted crying outside her mother's residence. The report further stated that she is also survived by a granddaughter who lives in London.
Pamela Bach got married to popular Hollywood actor, David Hasselhoof on December 8, 1989. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Taylor-Ann, on May 5, 1990, and their second daughter, Hayley, on August 26, 1992. However, after the birth of their children, it was David Hasselhoof who filed for divorce in January 2006. The actor cited irreconciable issues as the major reason behind his decision to part ways with Pamela. It wasn't an easy decision for the couple to end their marriage after a period of 17 years.
It was emotionally exhausting for both parties, and Pamela Bach and David Hasselhoff even fought for the children's custody rights. After a long court battle, Pamela got custody rights for her two daughters, Taylor-Ann and Hayley. David Hasselhoff was granted visitation rights, but he briefly lost it after a relapse in 2007. However, he soon regained the visitation charges and was co-parenting his daughters with his ex-wife, Pamela Bach.
