Justin Long is a songwriter, producer, engineer and mixer. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous acclaimed studios and artists. Justin often shares updates about his work on social media. In 2022, Justin shared a post featuring Paris Jackson and advertising her upcoming appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The sound engineer revealed that he was working in the sound department for the episode. According to reports, Paris and Justin began dating around this time. 

After that, Paris also posted carousels and videos from her performances, which featured Justin. The singer would thank him and all the other people involved in making the shows and records successful. In November 2022, Paris posted a selfie with Justin, which was part of an Instagram photo dump. Over the years, Paris and Justin were frequently seen in each other's photos, with their professional relationship turning into a romantic bond.

Paris Jackson was seen flaunting an engagement ring in September 2024 at the Paris Fashion Week. However, the singer took a couple of more months to announce her impending nuptials with her boyfriend, Justin Long. In December 2024, Paris shared photos of the marriage proposal, which showed Justin on one knee and pulling out a ring box. It also included a close-up of the gorgeous ring and her fiancé putting it on her finger. Two months before splitting up from Justin, the singer had spoken to Access Hollywood about their wedding plans. Paris was quoted as saying:

"The dress is being made, the venue has been picked and the date has been picked by an astrologer ... because I’m from LA."

Paris Jackson was seen crying after her breakup with Justin Long 

On June 25, 2009, music-dance legend and Paris's father, Michael Jackson, left the world at the age of 50. Recently, in July 2025, Paris was spotted by the public in a very emotional state. The Daily Mail linked her tears to her father's death anniversary and shared the photos. However, Paris took to her social media and in a now-deleted post clarified that those were 'breakup tears'. Later, on July 31, 2025, Paris confirmed the break-up. Though she did not reveal the reason for the split, a report by The Economic Times suggests that financial and familial issues might have been reason for her calling off the engagement with Justin Long. Talking about her publicly crying photos, Paris had said:

“Those are breakup tears. y’all are fkn reaching again."
