Pink’s first meeting with Carey Hart dates back to 2001 at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia. Although the duo began dating shortly, they separated in 2003. The reasons for the split were not revealed, and they reconciled in 2004. For the unversed, Carey Hart injured himself at the Summer X Games in 2001 when he was doing a mid-air flip on his bike. Carey fell 35 feet in the incident, following which he was injured in the right foot, ribs, and tailbone.

Back in 2004, Carey Hart participated in the Pro 250 class finals. In between the race, Pink appeared with a board while Carey was taking the third lap, asking Hart to marry her. Notably, Carey remained focused on his racing until Pink appeared with another board, saying that she was serious about it. Carey eventually stopped to say yes. In an interview with PEOPLE in 2006, Carey said that he decided to be with Pink forever a few weeks after he met her.

Two years after they got engaged, Pink and Carey Hart tied the knot in 2006. The wedding ceremony was organised at a beach in Costa Rica. The marriage was attended by 100 guests. Addressing the reasons behind choosing a beach for the wedding, Pink said that she and Carey love the beach. Carey later said that the plan was to make the wedding non-traditional since he and Pink are not so religious. Carey added that he and Pink wanted to exchange vows in front of their close friends and family members.

While everything was going fine, Pink’s publicist confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE in 2008 that she and Carey Hart were separating. The publicist added that the decision was taken with a lot of love and respect for each other. A few months after the split was confirmed, Carey lost his brother, Anthony, in a motorcycle accident in August 2008. Pink supported Carey during that period, including that she dedicated a song to Anthony. In 2009, the duo started working on their relationship once again, and Pink confirmed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the same year that she and Carey had reconciled.

Pink appeared for an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2010, announcing that she was expecting a child. She admitted during the conversation that she suffered a miscarriage in the past. In 2011, Pink revealed on X that she had a daughter named Willow Sage Hart. Pink announced her second pregnancy through an Instagram post in 2016. She and Carey Hart welcomed a son named Jameson Moon Hart in the same year. Pink and Carey’s children have continued accompanying them on various occasions, and the couple has frequently shared glimpses of their relationship on social media.
Pink recently started trending after multiple reports claimed that she has separated from Carey Hart once again. As reported by PEOPLE on February 26, 2026 (ET), the news was initially revealed by an insider. However, Pink denied the claims with a video shared through her Instagram handle on February 27, 2026, saying that she was unaware of her fact that she had separated from her husband. She further stated:
“Do you want to want to talk about my accomplishments or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise? So fake news, not true. I love you all.”
