The dream of walking the aisle, and holding the hands of her beloved is a dream every woman has dreamt throughout her childhood. However, there are many stereotypes about what a bride should look like.
But brides these days have proved that beauty has no definition, and it comes in all shapes and sizes. Plus-sized brides are following their hearts and are leaving everyone speechless with their amazing choice of outfits on their D-day. From pastels to dark tones and whatnot, they are brave enough to not let size take over their confidence and self-esteem. Today, we are going to meet a bride who stunned us with her effortless style.

Meet the bride, Ankita Negi, who had donned a red lehenga from ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's collection. The skirt of her lehenga had linear embroidery work with heavy patterns in gold and circular motifs at the bottom of it. The outfit, especially the choli had an intricate design in golden zari, resham, sequins and stones, and it had given a royal look to it.
The choli had a plunging neckline and three-fourth sleeves. It had leaf-like motifs with a patterned design on the neck and sleeves. The bride had carried dual dupattas to amp her look. The dupatta, which was attached to her choli had a crisscross pattern with heavy gold thread and mirror work on its borders. The other dupatta, which was pinned on her head, was in silk with butti work and tassles. The dupatta also had the signature, 'Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava' incantation on its borders.

Ankita had accessorised her look with heavy jewellery, which had comprised of a heavy necklace with white studs and green pearl drops. She had matched the necklace with a pair of heavy jhumkas and maatha patti and a delicate nath. In addition, she had donned the traditional red chooda with golden kaleeras. The bride had completed her look with subtle makeup, which had included well-defined brows, blushed cheeks, eyeliner, brown shimmery eye shadow, a small bindi and nude lipstick. Her hair was tied in a bun and was decorated with floral carnations.
