The beautiful occasion of Karwa Chauth is dedicated especially to all couples and their happy married lives. During this occasion, the married women fast for the entire day from sunrise to moonrise for the well-being of their husbands. Recent trends show that loving husbands are also keeping fasts for their wives, which proves their love and support for them.
Talking about the rituals, on this day, the women used to do solah sringar by wearing bright-coloured outfits and jewellery, and a day before that, they clad their hands with unique mehendi designs. Thus, here we have curated a list of stunning divas from the Bollywood and television industry, who once flaunted beautiful mehendi designs ahead of celebrating their Karva Chauth.
To begin our list, we have the late legendary actress, Sridevi, who is still etched in many hearts for her beauty and stunning personality, even after leaving for the heavenly abode. Although she kept her personal life low-key, time and again, we had also stumbled upon some beautiful glimpses of her showing off her simple and round mehendi design during one of the times when she celebrated Karva Chauth. Talking about Sridevi's love for simple and round mehendi design, once in an interview with Zoom, ace mehendi artist, Veena Nagda had shared:
"Sridevi ji used to love the round mehendi design. She kept it simple and round always. And, she used to apply mehendi on every Karva Chauth without fail."

Comedienne, Bharti Singh tied the knot with the love of her life, Haarsh Limbachiyaa on December 3, 2017, and on April 3, 2022, they embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of their baby boy, Laksh. Despite being busy with professional commitments and motherly duties, Bharti never misses a chance to shed wifey goals. For instance, during Karva Chauth in 2022, she was spotted by the paps flaunting her beautiful mehendi design. We can spot stunning peacock designs in both her hands and also a woman with a sieve in one of her hands.

TV actress, Debina Bonnerjee and her husband, Gurmeet Choudhary embraced parenthood for the first time with their daughter, Lianna, who was born on April 3, 2022. And within a few months, on November 11, 2022, they welcomed their second baby girl, Divisha, who was born prematurely. Thus, during Karva Chauth on October 12, 2022, Debina was pregnant with her secondborn. However, to celebrate the occasion with her baby girl, Lianna, Debina posted glimpses of Karwa Chauth prep. In the pictures, she was decked up in a pastel blue-coloured kurti with matching pants and was seen flaunting her minimal fuss-free Western-designed mehendi design. It also had her firstborn's name.
Last year's Karva Chauth was more special for first-timers like television actress, Shraddha Arya. Thus, for her pehla Karwa Chauth on October 12, 2022, Shraddha took to her IG handle and shared the first look of her customised mehendi design. On the one hand, she designed the name initials of her hubby, Rahul, and on the other, we could spot a woman performing the Karwa Chauth puja. In addition, she opted for a minimal design on her feet.

Raveena Tandon got hitched to the man of her dreams, Anil Thadani on February 22, 2004, and embraced motherhood with the arrival of two beautiful children, Rasha and Ranbir. While celebrating Karva Chauth on October 13, 2022, Raveena took to her IG handle and gave a sneak peek into her minimal mehendi design. Moreover, the actress also wrote her daughter, Rasha and son, Ranbir‘s names on her respective palms along with the 'Om' symbol.

Earlier, on another occasion of Karwa Chauth in 2019, Raveena had taken to her Instagram handle and shared pictures from her gorgeous mehendi. Raveena's that year's mehendi was simply drool-worthy and featured floral patterns and many more, covering her entire hand.
Sonam Kapoor got hitched to the man of her dreams, Anand Ahuja in May 2018, and on August 20, 2022, they were blessed with a baby boy, whom they named Vayu. Coming back to Sonam's first Karva Chauth with Anand, the doting husband had shared a Boomerang of her wifey applying mehendi on her hands as his Insta story. In the picture, we could spot Sonam making a simple yet elegant heart design on their hands. Moreover, the then-newbie wife also added their initials alphabets AS to hers.
It was on October 6, 2020, when Niti Taylor announced her hush-hush wedding amidst the pandemic. However, it was on August 13, 2020, when she tied the knot with her 'Mr Right', Parikshit Bawa in an intimate ceremony. Thus, to celebrate her first Karwa Chauth in 2021, the actress applied mehendi on her hands and taking to her IG stories, Niti shared a video of the same. In the picture, Niti's Karwa Chauth ki mehendi featured beautiful trellis patterns, lotus motifs, and other designs, which altogether looked simply pretty.
Ayushmann Khurrana is happily married to his ladylove, Tahira Kashyap. Time and again, they have also showered immense love on each other, and proof of the same is found in their social media glimpses. For instance, on the occasion of Karva Chauth, on November 4, 2020, Tahira took to her Instagram handle and flaunted her mehendi specially done for the auspicious festival of Karva Chauth. In the picture, the doting wife was seen looking away from the frame while showing her palm clad with a snowflakes mehendi design. Describing the meaning of it, she wrote:
"Karva Chauth in times of corona! Honestly had set out to make snowflakes (paucity of time leads to this kind of self-art) until someone pointed out why would you make coronavirus!! Now blame it on my skills or mind being clouded constantly by this stupid virus wishing you all a very happy corona free #karvachauth #gocoronago."
On the other side, Tahira's doting husband, Ayushmann too got his wife's name's initials drawn on his hand with the henna. He took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of his palm on which we could see Tahira's name in the Hindi language, and wrote, "#karvachauth", atop it.
Television actress, Sanaya Irani tied the knot with popular actor, Mohit Sehgal in 2016. Thus, she celebrated her first Karwa Chauth with her and Mohit's close friends and family. As a new bride, the gorgeousness got dressed in an orange-coloured salwar suit. In some of the pictures shared by her, Sanaya was also seen flaunting her beautiful mehendi design for the day. Sanaya's mehendi featured rose and other floral patterns on both sides of her hand. Moreover, on the front side of Sanaya's mehendi, we can also spot a beautiful haathphool made with the henna.
Global icon, Priyanka Chopra got married to international signing sensation, Nick Jonas on December 1, 2018. The couple is blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Despite being far away from India, Pee Cee never forgets to celebrate every festival connected to her Indian roots. While celebrating Karva Chauth with her husband, Nick Jonas, in Los Angeles, on October 14, 2022, Priyanka took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture of her henna-adorned hands. On one of her hands, we could see the initials of her husband's name and a heart, while on the other, Priyanka was seen wearing chooda and holding a sieve.
Earlier, on October 18, 2019, Priyanka took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture of her mehendi amidst a Jonas Brothers concert. Along with it, she wrote, “Karwa Chauth at a @jonasbrothers concert. Definitely a first I’ll always remember! @nickjonas #karwachauth.” The picture featured her henna-clad hands with beautiful flowy designs.
It was Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary's second anniversary on October 12, 2020, when she gave a sneak peek of her mehendi design on the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth. In the beautiful picture, featuring one of her henna-clad hands, we could see a mandala-type mehendi design along with the duo name written on the fingers.
On Yuvika Chaudhary's first Karwa Chauth, her doting husband, Prince had taken the duty to put mehendi on his wife's hands. The minimal mehendi featured a house, a couple, a tree and a few more elements. Taking to her IG handle, Yuvika also shared a picture on her Insta story about her mehendi drawn by Prince, and it was too cute to miss.

Mira Rajput Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are one of the most loved couples in the industry. They tied the knot on July 7, 2015, and were blessed with two kids, Zain and Misha. In 2022, taking to her Instagram handle, Mira shared a picture of her Karva Chauth preparations featuring a minimalistic henna design on her hand. In her IG story, we could see Mira flaunting her almost dried-up mehendi design, which looked beautiful.
The popular television actors, Sanjay Gagnani and Poonam Preet tied the knot on November 28, 2021. A day ahead of that, on November 27, 2021, a celebrity mehendi artist took to his Instagram handle and shared a rare video of the then-to-be-bride, Poonam Preet's mehendi design. In the video clip, the actress could be seen donning a blue coloured T-shirt in the video, as she posed for the camera with a wide smile while flaunting her mehendi design. The mehendi design featured a king and queen travelling in a garden of love.
Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani fame, Kamya Panjabi got married to Shalabh Dang in 2020. In 2022, while celebrating Karva Chauth, she got her hands clad with a beautiful mehendi design that featured simple strokes and bindis along with her husband's name.
Last but not least, we have Mouni Roy on our list, who got married to the love of her life, Suraj Nambiar on January 27, 2022. Thus, to celebrate her 1st-ever Karva Chauth as a married woman, she got her hands clad with a unique mehendi design. On October 13, 2022, Mouni Roy took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures, flaunting her mehendi design. While the overall design was simply unmissable, the picture of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati on her right palm and a woman with a sieve on the other simply enhanced the entire design to a notch higher.
