Question: Every member of my family love to eat. Present them with a dish and they won’t take a second to finish it up. However the only constraint here is they are staunch vegetarians. Now on my wedding, which is in December, I am inviting friends and people who relish nonveg items. How do you think should I prepare the wedding menu so as to satiate the appetite of all my guests?
Answer:Preparing a menu for all is a real tough job because you need to bear in mind the likes and dislikes of many. However, it’s not impossible. With a little know-how and some help from your caterer you can set a menu that will become the highlight of your wedding apart from you of course.

It is advisable that you prepare separate menus for vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. Since you mentioned your family feels strongly about being veggie, make sure that you also have arrangement for separate cooking. You won’t want a suspicious family member prying on every move of your cook, will you?
Always remember to strike a balance between your veg and non-veg food items. It is a fact that items on the strict veg list are predictable and known while there is a potpourri of non-veg dishes. So always maintain equilibrium as to how many dishes you want in non veg and veg.
There is another point that you need to remember is there are many nonvegetarians who are choosy about which meat they eat. There would be people who cherish chicken but simply doesn’t find mutton to be delicious enough or vice versa. And if you intend to have other meat servings as well always make sure there are takers for it. There’s no point wasting your money on items that might not be of anyone’s liking.
