Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Bring Old-Hollywood Glam To MET '25, Break The Gala Jinx For Couples

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are the internet's favourite couple. We saw their first MET Gala and how their relationship has bloomed over the years. And now they are back on the fashion event's red carpet, serving the old Hollywood glam at its best. However, that is not all; Priyanka and Nick have also broken the age-long curse surrounding the couples at the MET Gala.

Priyanka Chopra walked down the MET Gala red carpet for the fifth time. She was accompanied by her husband and singer, Nick Jonas. This was the couple's fourth MET together, and we are in awe. They first appeared together as 'just friends' on the MET 2017 red carpet. However, seeds of their romance were sown deep in the blooming land of their love and cut to 2025, when the couple had been happily married for six years and parents to a beautiful baby girl, Maltie Marie. 

For this year's MET Gala, the couple brought a sartorial statement on the red carpet and served old Hollywood glam with their own twist. Priyanka and Nick stole the spotlight despite the heavy rain. PeeCee donned a gorgeous custom polka-dotted dress by Olivier Rousteing. The dress featured an exquisite structure, which featured a cinched waist and strapped sleeves. The actress paired the look with a blazer which showcased sharp shoulders and a dramatic peplum. The flowing slide-slit skirt further added to the romance of the finely tailored garment.

Priyanka paired the look with black gloves, a dramatic wide-brimmed hat, and a massive emerald and diamond statement necklace by Bvlgari. Her make-up was also on point with the old Hollywood theme, with a bold lip, smoky eyes, sculpted cheeps and hair left open in soft waves with added stars to her look. While Priyanka looked ravishing, Nick Jonas wasn't far behind as he looked refined in a playful cream blouse with an extravagant bow tie collar. He paired the shirt with a high-waisted black trouser. The pants featured a gorgeous broch, which was strategically placed to accentuate his look further.

Many reports over the years have claimed that there is a looming curse in the Met Gala that ruins the personal life of the iconic couples who walked the event. According to a report by Teen Vogue, the Met Gala curse turns a happy tale into a tragic end for couples who attend the event held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art every year. It is said that if one walks on the red carpet with a smile, with their partner, they are soon separated. The theory rose when several couples broke up after walking down the MET Gala red carpet. However, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas seem to have broken the curse, as the couple has only gotten stronger over the years.
