Priyanka Chopra is one of the few talented stars from Bollywood who also got huge global recognition. She has, time and again, proved her acting prowess in a number of Bollywood and Hollywood films. During her career of over two decades, she has, thus, also formed a number of friendships in the industry. However, she is also one such actress, who never misses a chance to open up about the right kind of things and reveal unknown sides of the film industry.
For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra stepped into the acting world in 2002, with the Tamil film, Thamizhan alongside Vijay. Soon, she was cast for her Hindi film debut in the 2003 spy thriller film, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. Apart from Priyanka, the film also starred Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the lead roles. Priyanka and Sunny also showed a stunning chemistry on-screen. However, as per multiple reports, Priyanka was once heard discussing her experience working with Sunny Deol in a resurfaced video. In the video, the actress was heard revealing her initial reservations about working with Sunny during the shoot. Explaining the same, Priyanka recalled:
"I was excited to work with Sunny Deol. He is a senior actor, and I respect him a lot. I was very reserved; we would sit in different corners. We would just ‘Hello’ and ‘Hi’ and that’s all. Even when I would talk to him, I would look down and look up and look down while speaking to him. But once we got comfortable with each other, then it was all good."
The Hero: Love Story of a Spy didn't perform well at the box office after its release. However, Priyanka's performance in the film was hugely appreciated by filmmakers, and she soon signed her next Bollywood movie, Andaaz, opposite Akshay Kumar. Andaaz's success transitioned her career completely and helped her earn huge critical acclamation.
