R Madhavan is a famous actor, who needs no introduction. It was back in 2000 when R Madhavan rose to fame with his masterclass acting skills in the Tamil film, Alaipayuthey. In the next year, he made his debut in Bollywood with the movie, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Since then, he never had to look back as he was featured in several famous movies, including Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Rang De Basanti, Guru, Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu: Returns. In his personal life, he is married to Sarita Birje.
R Madhavan clears the air about replying to young girls on social media
Recently, a video of R Madhavan made rounds on the discussion platform, Reddit, wherein he was seen talking about an app, which gives parents access to track when their kids are using social media. Well, talking about the same, Madhavan shared a personal experience and cleared the air about him replying to young girls on social media.
He said that it often happens that his female fans take to their DMs and drop praising texts about watching his work that also includes love and kisses emojis. Madhavan said that as they are his fans, he tends to put up a 'thank you' text for them. But the excited fans take screenshots of Madhavan's texts and post them on social media, which gives people the wrong idea that he's replying to young girls online. He remarked that his intention was never to reply to her but to the text, she sent about his movie. R Madhavan added that it has become his fear and he remains careful about this, and thus, when it is this challenging for someone like him who has a lot of experience, those who are new here, it can be a lot more challenging for them.

When R Madhavan talked about his wife's reaction to his huge fan following
Earlier, talking to Filmfare Middle East, R Madhavan was asked if his massive fan following caused it uneasy for his wife. To this, the actor said that by the time, his first Hindi film was released, he was married, and thus, his wife had been habituated to see him like this. He also added that his wife is a fan of SRK, so she must know what it feels like but she's not jealous. Madhavan also revealed that his wife has asked him to act his age and stop posting on IG, which he thinks was not out of jealousy, but because his wife actually wanted him to behave in an age-appropriate manner.

It was in an interview, two years back when R Madhavan said that he would act in an age-appropriate manner and wouldn't romance someone young on screen now. He further claimed that even if he gets any role in a romantic movie, then it would have to be age-appropriate and viable for him.
