Rajat Bedi Reveals Condition He Had For Aryan Khan Before Signing Ba***ds Of Bollywood, 'I Said..'

Bollywood actor, Rajat Bedi, has been hogging the limelight after he made a comeback with Aryan Khan's The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. It is the directorial debut of Shah Rukh Khan's eldest son, Aryan Khan and Rajat essays the role of 'Jaraf Saxena' a star who has been banned by the movie mafia. In the series, he got a lot of love for his role, but did you know that Rajat had a condition for Aryan before he signed The Ba***ds Of Bollywood?

Rajat Bedi shares how he got The Ba***ds Of Bollywood

Rajat has made a killer comeback with The Ba***ds Of Bollywood and shared about the conversation he had with Shah Rukh Khan regarding the same. Rajat, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, revealed that he had been working for the past three years and was unaware that Aryan already had a role in mind for the actor. He shared that the production team of Aryan had reached out to him via mutual connection. Rajat shared about the condition he had with Aryan, and shared:

"I said, ‘Aryan. I’ll only do your thing, if you will allow my son to assist you. I started my career with your father. My son will start his career with you’. He said, done sir… So, we had this whole deal in place and my son was with him the last 2 years."

Rajat shared that, as he was in Canada at the time, he couldn't quite believe that Aryan's production team had reached out to him and wanted the actor for the role. Rajat shared Aryan's certainty of wanting the actor for the role because of his work in Koi... Mil Gaya when he was a kid. Aryan was inspired by this and felt that Rajat fit the character perfectly. Rajat shared that if one has seen The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, there is a lot of relatability with his journey. Rajat shared feeling overwhelmed and excited to meet Aryan and shared:

"Aryan’s friends told me at the premiere that he was nervous to meet me. Aryan was preparing for days to meet me and how he’s going to tell me about the role… But the thing is that he had me at hello… When Aryan sat me down and he ran me through what he’s doing, I was so overwhelmed and excited. I asked him to call his father."

The actor who has received a lot of love and appreciation for his phenomenal role in The Ba***ds Of Bollywood had started off his career as an assistant director. His association with Shah Rukh Khan is as old as it was on the sets of Zamaana Deewana, where he worked as an assistant director. Rajat has been riding high with the success of  The Ba***ds Of Bollywood and shared speaking to King Khan too before saying a yes to the series.

He shared that he had spoken to Shah Rukh Khan, who mentioned that his son, Aryan, was creating something. For the unversed, Rajat's kids — daughter Vera and son Vivaan — have also been taking the limelight since they made their public appearance at Aryan Khan's web series premiere show of The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Remembering his conversation with King Khan, Rajat shared:

"Shah Rukh sir told me ‘Dekh le tereko karna hai toh mera beta kuch kar raha hai."
