They shared a post to announce the news and captioned it as, "Elated". The post quickly went viral and fans and industry friends congratulated them by showering a lot of love. Apart from this happy moment, Rajkummar Rao is all geared up for his recent film, Maalik.

In a recent interview, Rajkummar Rao expressed his happiness and excitement to become a father. He shared that the experience is still sinking in for both Rajkummar and Patralekhaa. They are overwhelmed with this news. Rajkummar Rao also expressed his feelings on being a father and believes that he will be a good father. The duo said that they are looking forward to this experience, which according to their friends is the most beautiful journey of life. In his words:

The couple made their first public appearance post-announcement for the screening of Rajkummar's film, Maalik, in which Patralekhaa was spotted in a graceful oversized brown suit.
