Punjabi music fans have been praying for the speedy recovery of Jamme Naal De singer, Rajvir Jawanda. The musician was injured in a serious road accident and is currently admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he is undergoing treatment for injuries to his head and spine. Now, the team of doctors have shared an update on the singer's health as he remains on life support after over a week.
A recent report by Patrika has shared another update on the health of singer, Rajvir Jawanda. According to the report, the doctors performed an MRI on his brain, which showed significant hypoxic changes. For the uninitiated, it means that the singer's brain is lacking oxygen, which can lead to permanent damage. Additionally, an MRI of the spinal cord revealed significant damage to the cervical regions, leading to weakness in some of his limbs.
The tragic accident left Rajvir Jawanda on life support. While the doctors at Fortis hospital are doing their best to provide everything required for the singer's recovery, the severity of his injuries cannot be ignore. It has been eight days since Rajvir was placed on a ventilator, and now a report by Punjab Kesari has revealed that the doctors are now concerned that the injuries could lead to organ failure, which further diminishes his chances of recovery.
The doctors who had been optimistic about the looming crisis have now expressed their concerns that the singer might go into organ failure. They shared that they had hoped Rajvir Jawanda's condition would improve, but there has been no change so far. While earlier reports had revealed that Rajvir had extensive damage to his cervical and dorsal spine, resulting in profound weakness in all four limbs. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he might require prolonged ventilator support. The overall prognosis remains guarded, indicating a cautious outlook for his recovery.
Amrit Maan also posted on Instagram, urging everyone to pray for Rajveer Jawanda so that he recovers soon and returns to his family. He added that there is great strength in prayer and requested everyone to refrain from spreading fake news. Diljit Dosanjh also posted a heartfelt story with a message for Rajvir. Rajvir's bike reportedly collided near Baddi, where he lost control and his bike crashed. According to varied reports online, Rajvir suffered injuries to the spine as well as the head. His health was closely monitored when he was on the support system. Due to the severity of the injuries, Rajvir was put on life support. Many of his friends from the industry visited him to show support, and even the Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, expressed concern on social media and prayed for his speedy recovery.
